Geogaddi
I would be stunned and also disappointed in the club if we sell Isak this summer mind . We hold all the power with 3 years left on his contract. Even if he kicks up a fuss which I don't think he will we still should be saying no and making him give us another season. Not a lot we can do next summer with only two years left but it sends out the totally wrong message about our ambitions etc if we sell him this window. HayDen Traces
I was thinking about what we could/should be offering him on his new contract... £250k p/w and a £10m signing bonus which is spread out over the term of the contract? It's comfortably our highest paid but not so far ahead of Bruno etc?

I think the point is we could essentially give him a new contract which would reduce his amortization and it's essentially free in accounting terms as we've stretched the amortisation over a longer period. Extending by 2 years brings the £31m to £6.2m per year. We could offer him a £75k p/week rise without having an affect on PSR.

Keep Isak every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. I love the idea of getting both but Isak is simply the best player I've ever seen at Newcastle and a genuine world class talent. Liverpool know we won't sell for that and by all accounts have already told them where to go. it's almost as if they are just acting like twats for the sake of it . I thought the bin dippers had hit peak cunt under Klopp, who knew there were still levels to go.

That wouldn't put him even on £200k p/w so likely wouldn't be enough to tempt him to resign?

Wow, well done Liverpool for displaying such mighty courage by enquiring about the availability of the best striker in the world who plays for a club below you in the football food chain before retreating back to your hovel when you find out that the selling club won't be short changed and the player won't agitate for a move. Stunning and brave.

La Parka
Tbh, if we get Hugo I expect it's at the cost of Isak. We need to reinvest that money in the defence though.
