This window has been that bad, and I'm that fed up of PSR that I actually feel nothing about this.

 I'm rapidly headed towards disengagement. Fuck's the point.

Chelsea and Man United are both cartel clubs that - while benefitting from them - are still working around the PSR there to benefit them to go above and beyond.

There are plenty of levers we could pull short of taking a points hit to circumvent PSR that we're not pulling, that was just an example of an in-emergency-pull levers.

Selling assets, legal challenges, loopholes?

As we're barely pulling levers to work within PSR and max out - player trading, sponsorships etc, moaning about it is no more an excuse than it is a solution.

The nearest thing to bemoaning PSE being a solution would be a legal challenge, and we're not doing that either, so even then I would think that you'd want us/PIF to actually do something about the situation considering the power they can wield?

Sure, but I find it difficult to be overly critical when I don't know what's actually possible/feasible/worthwhile.

I really must do some work so can't do another detailed response.

Perhaps we're not doing enough to challenge the situation; my point is we shouldn't have to. Fuck the cartel.

Jeez the state of this thread. The guy has 3 years deal to run in place. At the very least we have him for another year and fuck his feelings if he wants Liverpool

There's so many pages on this - can someone give me the consensus pls, do we think he's most likely just injured, or on the move?

Best case scenario: he genuinely has a muscle injury and they're worried training in high humidity might inflame it.

Worst case scenario: he's agitating for a move.

It could also be a little from column A and a little from B. Whatever way you look at it, it's not great.

And if his feelings translate on the pitch and training ground hes stays the full 3.

I remember being on a whitey, going home, closing the curtains, crawling into my bed and watching our Return of the Entertainers season review VHS until I felt semi-human.

I was expecting the final word to be erect rather than human, not gonna lie

Well Guehi seemed to get over it. I assume he would too or else rot. We need Wissa pretty bad now to have cover in any event

It's almost as bad as the one when Andy Carroll went to Liverpool :)

I agree. We're a bit rudderless. I feel like every summer we're slow to react

Eddie wanted too much of a say in transfers. He's bit off more than he can chew. Now he's doing two roles and can't give 100%. Shambles.

Hed back to Europe within 12 months Duran style.

Probably, but at least it will piss everyone off and it gets us used to him not playing for us.

No cast iron proof but some circumstantial, it can't be discounted.

I disagree. He should absolutely be in charge of players the we bring in. He's the manager and the one who works with them every day. Not to mention the fact that we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. It's pure guesswork
