But this suddenly feels in play: Sell Isak for £140m Buy Guehi £55m Gallagher £40m Trafford £35m TBD striker £50-60m I wouldn't be against that, but as soon as we get £140m for Isak you can add £10m to all of those other fees. Plus it would take 4 windows to get those in.

I think Eddie Howe just might want to see him sold as well. Think there's some truth to this. Provided someone meets that £150 million valuation. We've been looking at a lot of strikers since the start of the year, many of who are the best young ones out there. I think preparations were being made for this scenario. If this has all been going on in the background, it somewhat explains the slow progress in the transfer window to some degree. Probably been waiting to resolve this and see if a big fee comes in that would influence how we move in the market.

So the infrastructure at the club is not quite right for the ambition it seems. Even Spurs could probably pay 300k for Kane when he was there even though they are low payers. This was an exception we should have taken.
Jordan
We’ve left it far too late to sell now with the glacial speed we move off the field. The club is a shambles off the pitch, someone from PIF who can make a decision needs to be involved in the club on a day to day basis to speed up the decision making process. I'm not siding with Isak, but if we are going to quote teams '£130m+' to sign him, essentially pricing him as the best player in the leauge, we can't turn around and get pissed off he/his agent feels that means he should get paid like one of the best players in the league.
