Man if all of this amounts to a cut-price sale at say £120-130m, when he is so blatantly worth considerably more in today's market it would send me over the edge to go move to Georgia and support Dinamo Tbilisi and consider my Newcastle United supporting as but a fever dream.

Sadly impossible, I am he whose life and soul are torment.

He clearly wants out without publicly declaring it.

Great player great 3 years but if he doesn't want to be here that's enough for me, sell him.

Call it delusion, maybe it's one of the stages of grief. But I can't see him asking to leave..... for what, Liverpool or Saudi invisibility?

We've said all along he's not for sale and all the replacements are now unavailable.

He. Wants. To. Leave

As me old mam used to say "I want never gets". Tell him if he wants to leave it has to be on our terms, until then abide by your contract.

Starting to regret gloating that Liverpool don't have a 9 and we'd end up with both Isak and Ekitike [emoji38]

I would be amazed (and a bit disappointed) if Howe isn't cutthroat about this tbh. We cannot have players skipping pre-season because they regret signing their contract.

Cutthroat is making the decision to let him go tomorrow. Holding onto to him now out of spite is counter productive. The case study is Liverpool and coutinho

I'll be able to handle it happening so long as we don't sell him to Liverpool or another PL team, which also makes me more confident that that's exactly what we'll do. We might have new owners but the feeling that we still have cursed DNA is very strong.

If he goes to a PIF club, my understanding is the transfer fee can't be used for our Champions League squad?

I think you're getting mixed up with UEFA's restriction on sale of assets being considered as income (such as Chelsea's hotels). Sales of players to related parties would be required to be fair market value, as they would by the PL, but I think the PL are stricter on that than UEFA are.
