What I have understood is that pre-season tour is in problem purely because the promoters haven’t paid what was promised. Would you go play against weak sides without being paid what was promised? These tours create income and if not paid, then what’s the point? They could have afforded Williams, but he just used them to flush better deal. Everything was ready on Barcelona’s side. Diaz wants Bayern. They don’t owe that to Ter Stegen, they just want him to leave club so they don’t have to keep paying him high salary as back-up option. But I do worry on our ability to invest well. The amount of signings we’ve missed out on this summer. It might be better to wait until next summer just so we can get our house in order with a new CEO and Director of football. And, if there's any way possible we are able to do it, then I would press on with Wissa AND Sesko. Make Isak work for his place, and unless we get an offer that WE deem appropriate, then he stays until next summer. If by making the signings we need to this summer we are close to a PSR breach, then we sell Isak next summer to sort it. That above may be cloud cookoo land, but fuck it.
