Take away all the noise and the hype we have had one real update from the Isak camp to say he wants to consider his options.

What options is he considering we don't know, as Liverpool have not made any official bids.

The other 99% of updates are pure guess work or click bait from both us and the Liverpool side.

Just saying the same thing at work. Would rather judge all of this afterwards when more facts are known, but with 3 years left on his contract I expect loyalty (yeah I know they are only in it for the coin etc) But where's his integrity if that's the case.

Is it tho? The same journalist that said he is considering his options (Romano & Ornstein) are also the ones saying he wants Liverpool, he’s desperate for Liverpool, he’s pushing for Liverpool move etc etc. We can’t believe one piece of info and ignore the rest

Tbh as much as anyone can tell with these kind of things, I never got the impression Isak was fully "bought in" in the same way that it feels like, for example, Bruno and Joelinton are. Nor have I ever formed a real impression of his character at all aside from his calm and collected nature on the pitch and in interviews.

Could just be a reflection of a more introverted personality on his part but there was nothing there for us to really think something like this was an impossibility. The reticence when discussing the scoring record with Shearer, saying "everyone knows how I feel about the club" in an interview when away on international duty rather than speaking more directly, not seeming to celebrate goals from teammates so much towards the end of the season... in hindsight there were some signs.

Unfortunately some players have none, and just like the spoilt brats that some are, they just want their own way.

I would never have said that about Isak, and still hope it's untrue. But if it is, i will hate him forever. Because hate will be all he deserves for being a spoilt, disloyal, greedy, pathetic cunt. And Liverpool makes that a billion times worse.

Really is baffling. All we've heard from Alex, and insiders at the club for the last year or so was that he was happy, and they were confident in keeping long term and had no plans to sell.

One rumor comes out that Liverpool prefer him to Ekitike, and he's faked an injury, refused to train. And heading back of to Sweden? [emoji38]

We haven't even received a bid yet, and we're unsure if we can keep him? Crazy how much changed in a 2 weeks time

The fucking preamble to an actual bid here is exhausting. Liverpool and their media acolytes have been circle jerking over this transfer for weeks yet not one official bid has been made.

Could it be because they know our official stance remains that Isak is not for sale?

MAKE A BID OR FUCK OFF

And we really don't know all the facts. We'll know before the 1st of September!

Obviously it's just rumours at the moment but if he has gone AWOL and is back in Sweden, it is very, very disappointing and really poor behaviour from him.

It's getting to the point now where he probably does need to leave, just feels like so many bridges have been burned

Surely we would know if he was in Sweden now? I mean this Isak thing is pretty big over here too  It’s not like he went over by car and ferry.

It’s all just strategy. The longer it goes on the more unsettled Isak gets. Also if we buy a striker then they’ll probably try bidding a bit less. They also must be aware if we don’t have a striker it’s going to be a flat out rejection. They’ve got the bulk of their transfers in there’s absolutely no need to rush for them

If he has fucked off back to Sweden. Romano would be wanking himself silly over it

I'm not saying the 1% is not true but we can't take every update as being accurate otherwise we will go crazy.

What will be, will be

I agree but just saying if we are trusting Romano for instance that he’s said he’s exploring his options then we surely have to believe the same guy when he says he’s desperate for the Liverpool move

Not (Liverpool fans and the media - as if that's two separate things) even trying to pretend any of this is for the good of football as whole and not at all to completely benefit the likes of themselves now.

I just hate that the club aren't taking ownership over the narrative.

Almost feels like we're waiting for Liverpool to bid, or for Alex to realize he's wrong and come home.

There has been next to zero in the way of actual hard news updates. In the absence of this people just create their own narratives.
