Surely we've allowed this, warmer climate for his recovery and away from our national press circus, I'm not sure what the fuss is about? Also, clearly wearing our training kit also.

That photo looks like it’s from England.

I’m sure we have allowed it, my question would be why.

Training on his own at SOCIEADAD? Ermmmmmmmm have I missed something here?

Why on earth would he be training on his own at his former club?

He's literally trolling us at this point. Didn't think he would show such distain towards us.

That isn't a picture of him there. Benton in background.

The fuss is justified, we're letting player power win and our stance as a club has been so weak throughout.

Wrong Isak only said he wanted to explore opportunities.  All the rest is from the Liverpool loving media throwing out all sorts of rubbish in a seemingly successful attempt to unsettle Isak.  If they truly want Isak we should stipulate that we will take Ekitike plus £80m in part ex!!

Give over, man. You can’t think this, surely?

% snippet from downie

If Isak was to leave Newcastle, his former club would receive 10 percent of every euro above a €70m transfer fee.

Nah, trustworthy sources from N-O has confirmed that it is a % of the entire fee, not just the profit.

Keep him engaged so there's a way back when the transfer to Liverpool doesn't happen.

Much better than was originally stated.

Someone else said a few pages back, we used to let ASM go back to France for personal treatment.

And as also said, getting him out of the country away from being hounded may allow him to clear his head a little.

I wonder if he has the club's permission to be training in Spain.

Every decision relating to his whereabouts will be taken or signed off by Eddie. As a top leader never mind football manager, EH will maintain his authority over all first team matters. It’s a fundamental of top leaders.

What else are we meant to do like?

It seems we've reiterated to him and his agent he won't be going anywhere this summer. I'm sure if there are any disciplinary matters they'll be kept behind closed doors, as they should be.

I see no issue with him training in Spain as long as it's been allowed. A flight to Spain is not really comparable to a flight to Singapore, and no need to make him stay in Newcastle when team not there.

Yes there is, he's our player.

This is not rare. Players have trusted people they use for treatment. Happens in other sports also.

Well hope you’re right. If it was me though, I’d also want one eye on the “he belongs to Newcastle” angle.

Who knows though, could be fine if it’s keeping him happy in the event he stays. Alternative take is that he’s pulling further away.
