Just can’t see us being bullied into accepting anything less than what he’s worth, especially with 3 years left on his contract.

Think we will get what he is worth.

We talk about us being desperate, but I think Liverpool are a little desperate themselves.

With Diaz and Jota gone I don't see them being happy having to rely on Nunez and Ekitike.

I'm not basing my opinion on allegations, I don't want him getting more money from the club because I'm now not that arsed about him leaving, I just don't want him going there, especially dipping under our valuation

Everything that has enraged you about Isak is all hearsay and allegations as well.

All that has been said officially from the club is that he isn't on tour due to injury and that there are discussions about his future.  Him going on strike, telling the senior players to fob off etc is all just press talk.

They won't be. They've got Salah.

Well having just Salah didn't make them win CL last year.

They obviously have a great team as it is. But having an proven elite striker would make the team so much more complete.

"I don't base my opinions on allegations... unless said allegations support my opinion, in which case it's fact"

When dishing out the blame pie on this mess, the vast majority of it goes to the Isak camp as well as Liverpool and their pet gimps in the press.  But you're deluded if you think the club are 100% blameless and that there isn't a slice with our name on it (or at least a certain part of the hierarchy)

I didn't say any of it was fact, where did the 'Alexander wants to explore his options' line come from? it was put out by his camp wasn't it? That spells out to me he wants away, I'll trust my intuition on that. The reasons why he wants away are a different matter, ie the club' tabled' a deal then Mitchell pulled it,as you labelled it to suit your argument

Wasn't there direct quotes from Howe saying he only knew where Isak was due to the press reporting it? Doesn't sound great does it.

PIF should be cunts when the English window closes, and make a bid for Allison. At least with Allison, he’ll potentially want that move and it’ll force Liverpool to go with Marma earlier than they want with Woodman as number 2 as they can’t sign anyone.

Is this your first time experiencing Eddie Howe's press conferences?

The exploring options was attributed to club sources - at least in the Athletic reporting.  Nearly all of it has come from "club sources"

Mitchell fucking him over on the deal was also from internal sources on the Newcastle side, it was part of a wider hit piece when we lost out on Trafford which lumped all of the faults over the past year on the little Levy wannabe.

I think I saw somewhere else saying Man Utd enquires about the possibility of signing Isak

not that I believe that but apparently Isaks agent in full crisis mode

Though it would add to the clown show, it would be good to get some more bidders involved

I'm not disputing that a verbal agreement has been breached by the club, but 3 years left on a contract is a fair old whack and if it was Mitchell he has quickly been forgotten and that deal could have easily been resurrected with the new people in place. It's upset him but he's acted the cunt imo, the spirit Eddie and his staff have built in the squad is one of our great strengths and he's pissed all over it. That's why I think bumping up his money for a season is a farcical idea
