I’d prefer him to fuck off, but I’ve never booed a Newcastle player, not even Boomsong. Till he's actually gone, there's always a way back. And as long as he gives his full effort if/when selected he should be backed. Only if he is visibly dialling it in, would he likely be booed, but hopefully Eddie wouldn't have him on the pitch if he thought he'd do that. There’ll definitely be an element in the crowd who will boo him

Until he leaves 12 months later. Edited August 6, 2025 by Fak
The Butcher
He doesn't give one fuck about the club or the fans. Fuck him, his agent and Sweden as well Edited August 6, 2025 by The Butcher

Kooiman
I must say, seeing Liverpool writers try to pitch the line of 'But really, is there anyway back when he's said he wants to leave?' is nauseating.

Yes, yes there is. The narrative only serves them so IMO it can fuck off. There are very specific conditions in which we can even consider selling Isak. Otherwise he’ll need to strap on the black and white and get to work.

Client journalism has always been around but this window we are seeing it being used aggressively by Liverpool to apply maximum pressure without evidence of tapping up. At this stage I wouldn't sell even for £150m. There aren't any obvious replacement options left and we need to send a clear message that these tactics won't work. Menace
Considering he's barely trained for the last 2 weeks, I don't see him starting against Villa. So it really is Osula/Gordon upfront.

Am I correct in thinking if he refuses to play/train he's essentially in breach of contract and we can sue him? I would assume so but I don't think that is what is happening right now. I think its Eddie saying Isak he'll have to earn the right to train with the team again.

Hes already thrown some out way so we should be prepared to reciprocate.

I think Liverpool bid again next week. He’s weeks behind rest of the team. Doesn’t feature at all this weekend, he probably goes on bench for first league game but wouldn’t expect him to feature. Then it’s a ‘set back’ ahead of Liverpool game.

Zero
I don’t think it’s Isak who request to train alone this morning. No need to be that negative at this moment.

AyeDubbleYoo
Aye that is a brilliant sign if true. His agent could be pumping Romano full of discontented news already. Edited August 6, 2025 by AyeDubbleYoo
