I still can't get my head around the fact he's done all this...for Liverpool of all clubs. A Real Madrid, Barcelona etc I'd understand, even if I still thought he was a cunt. But Liverpool FFS.

Don’t think he has any idea how much of an error he’s made. Fairly confident that his career is going to go backwards relatively early on. He’s not a durable lad, he’s also proven himself to have the worst attitude imaginable. If he gets injuries (and he will) and doesn’t perform wherever he goes the fans will turn on him because they know already how much of a cunt he is. Has the makings of all going extremely sour for him no matter where he goes

They'll have offered him an absolute fortune in wages that few clubs in the world could pay.

I still can't see us selling. If we were going to do that, we'd have made the decision a while ago when he escalated it as far as he could. Makes no sense to change our minds now, with less time and no replacements in.

The problem is even if we want shot of the c*nt, he's put us on the back foot at every step and made getting the replacements in harder for us, and therefore himself.

We can't let him leave without a replacement of some sort, and that is proving almost impossible for us atm.

So we are at an impasse unless we spaff a fair wedge on the likes of wissa/jsl/Jackson, the first two being a bit of a death knell for their respective clubs so proven difficult to do.

Hate to say it, but I think it will go really well. Liverpool are a very fluid attacking outfit I think he could get an extra five goals over a premier league season than he would with us. Maybe more.

Isak was poor at the beginning and end of last season, I don’t think it’s clear how much of that was down to him struggling to be at his best fitness wise, and how much is down to him having his head turned.

over the long run they’ll be able to manage him better than we’ve been able to, also their style isn’t quite as intense as ours, which will help.

Obviously he has the talent but up until the summer we knew:

He's amazingly talented technically and a great striker of the ball

He’s not particularly strong in the air for his height, he’s average

He stops running at 60 mins and is completely useless both at scoring and supporting the team. If that’s to do with injury durability it’s an issue, if it’s to do with fitness then it obviously isn’t going to get better

We were working from the assumption he was a model pro. This couldnt be further from the truth.

If we combine the last paragraph with the one before it then there are a lot of scenarios where it doesn’t work out. If he stays injury free he’ll continue to perform at a very high level but for only 2/3rds of a game. That will likely cause a major imbalance in Liverpool’s team if he goes there as Ekitike won’t want to only get 30 mins a game with his attitude. Could see the two of them clashing badly. If he goes abroad it probably works out better for his career I’d imagine

Liverpool aren’t going to place a bid. Their and Isaks aim is to force the club to call them and offer a price, which Liverpool will then bid under. Has been for a month, it’s what they mean when they say they are waiting for the club to be willing to sell.

Isaks job is to make himself so toxic that the club go ahead and do that.

The club just need to hold their nerve until 2nd September and then Isaks leverage is gone.

almost feel sorry for this cretinous, meat ball loving cunt of a human being. He genuinely thinks Liverpool are going to match our valuation with 4 days left

Gotta admit I am bit disappointed by the softly softly approach PIF seem to be taking towards Isak - visiting his house, no fines.  They should be threatening him with court if he doesn't start playing today - certainly should have fined him by now.
