Hasn't he mentioned in the past that he'd like to play for one of the big two in Spain, I'm sure if that was an option it wouldn't be a case of "he only wants liverpool" anymore.
Certainly would have liked the club to at least explore player(s) plus cash options for him if either couldn't stump up the money.  The links with Fermin Lopez could have been a prime opportunity.

I saw a vid of some Newcastle fans singing it in a pub earlier (the song that references a boat). Baffling.

Fuck’s sake. That’s really sad and an indictment of how shit our society is. What a pathetic angle to take when there are genuine angles to take such as, here’s a guy who clearly doesn’t have any mates in life because he’s screwed over all the people that most footballers would be closest to, their teammates. What a fucking hollow human being. Maybe he’ll win more trophies away from us than with us but he’s going to have a lonely as fuck life. Also, everyone who really watches football knows who this man is now. He’s tainted and will be forever, and when the times are bad in the future for him, the disloyalty he’s shown us will be poured upon him by whichever team he’s at

That wasn't my point either but okay

The point myself (and othans) are making about the fans calling him a cunt isn't that it might force PIF to sell for a lesser value than their valuation but is instead how it impacts our striker situation of he is not sold which is looking increasingly likely as is us not buying an additional striker to replace him.

Ah right, gotcha

I'm essentially ruling him out of the equation tbh. Not getting shot of him doesn't mean we can't bring anyone else in imo. We know he's moving on soon enough and the books will eventually balance before the end of June. Continue to buy players, rule the snake out and move him on when the number is good enough - that's my position

There's more to being a Newcastle fan than cunts like this representing me on the pitch

So yes I suppose it does

The contempt he has got for me, and you and everyone else black and white knocks me sick

But he is just one component and actually you're saying you don't care about him whilst simultaneously saying you care more about him than the club (which I know won't be true).

What is more important? Getting rid of Isak or Newcastle winning games?

I honestly get the heart element (I'm more heart than head generally) and being respected and the fact he's a cunt - but I just don't see how exacerbating his transfer issue benefits us as supporters at this moment in time. I want to make Eddie's life easier, and the lads who do give a fuck.

Just don't see it ever getting anywhere near the point of playing, never mind scoring, if he ends up staying, which also feels very unrealistic. He's basically already an opposition player because he's deliberately trying to make us lose.

Is he though? He's not trying to make us lose - he's not trying to help us win. That's the difference.

It is upto the club to find solutions without Isak, whether he is our player or not. Business continuity planning and all that shite.

I agree. Then what happens with Isak happens.

these fuckers still want Isak and Guehi added. thats about further 170/180m spend. on top of Wirtz, Ekitike, Leoni, Kerkez, Frimpong, Mamardashvili, its like 5-6 first eleven players signed.

wonder what Klopp thinks, he was never given this kind of warchest before. he even made that interview how he cannot do what Newcastle is doing on the market the fucking idiot. but nobody can do what Slot does on the market fur sure.

even Guardiola didnt spend this much in a summer window lol.

Potato potata.

I'm very critical of the club for not having a Wilson replacement, but at the same time Isak has done this while we don't have that replacement, knowing it'll fuck us over, and exonerated himself of all responsibility. He's an absolute disgrace

Fans forking out a few hundred quid and having to watch us play with no striker and people are having a go at them?

The blokes earned about £600k on strike sat watching his teammates struggling knowing he's actively costing us points with his behaviour. He deserves more than a few chants.

It's not the same thing cause the intention is fundamentally different, but aye - he is a prick like.

He's basically let all his team mates down and all the people who have invested time and support in him.

I pay my hundreds too.

It's not 'having a go' it's constructively asking what benefit it adds to the situation, which thus far - I've not really seen any valid argument it adds other than;

A) It lets him know he's a cunt

Or

B) It let's us tell him he's a cunt

He won't really care about the chants, he's pretty detached and emotionless from what I've seen of him. It probably plays a part in him being so clinical as a striker. I don't think he'll have a problem playing for us again either if he doesn't get his move, he'll just get on with it regardless of the boos.

I'm sure he's on the sociopathic spectrum, I've never taken to him, even when he's winning us matches. There is definitely something a bit off about him.

Do you honestly believe he will have watched any of our games apart from the Scumpool game?

There's been murmurs that we are ready to compromise on the price, but I'm hoping that is just journalists taking a shot in the dark hoping they'll strike lucky. There's no way they could know in reality.

Not sure why anyone at the club would murmur to a journalist (or to anyone else, for that matter) that we're ready to compromise on the price. Nor am I sure how anyone not at the club would know what the club's owners are thinking.  It's all spin and clickbait.

Scousers could have tipped them off. Don’t think so personally but they probably would if it were true.

This. They'll want to generate sympathy about how they were respectful, and we disrespected and lied to them, moving the goal posts back after we told them the demands were lowered.

He can’t leave until we bring in an actual striker. I’m delighted with the signing of Woltemade, but we can’t expect him to be our only forward, especially since he’ll need time to settle in—just like Isak did when he first arrived. The ways it’s going I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool wait until January to try again.
