If Liverpool really don’t bid again then he has to come crawling back, the option to leave isn’t there. He can be the Wilson replacement this season while we look for a younger alternative to Wissa with a higher ceiling. Not a bad situation for us IMO.

Bloke is an absolute scumbag, our fans have every right to vocalise their disgust. Unrealistic to think they won't and another example of taking the passion out of the game imo

If the wor flags displays before his flounce didn't stay his hand calling that fucking cunt a cunt (ole ole ole) isn't going to do a thing. The fans pay his wages he can chew the corn in my turds the prick.

They want him for around £120m which only happens if we really want/need to sell him. If that is the position we find ourselves in then we may well end up going cap-in-hand asking for a deal. If not, there's no point in them putting another bid in uninvited.

That would be an awful outcome asking them for a deal

God, why are they like this?! Why are they trying to garner sympathy?

"Well, we asked Newcastle if they would like to work together on a deal but they were really mean and nasty and said no, so we're too scared to ask again in case they shout at us"

They're such a weird club and fanbase.

I'd love that to be the case, but I doubt Woltemade has come here to be Isak's backup. If he's signed, it's likely with assurances that he's his replacement.

He did not indicate that in his interviews. More hope to start there are some good strikers/forwards here (can’t remember which he said).

He'll sell for 100/110m next year regardless if he plays or not this season and I don't think his true value is 150m anyway. Maybe if he lit up the Champs League this season but we may never know that.

There is no material reason to sell him for a lowball amount. Worse case he sits out for the season and we sell him, hopefully elsewhere, and people know we don't fuck about.

Best case he comes back in and drives his value up even further.

All this only being able to fine him x wages if he doesn’t play nonsense is meaningless - if he doesn't meet his contractual obligations I'm sure the club will take legal action against him to recover those wages "losses".

A Hamstring injury for Ekitike today would be helpful, see then would we get our 150 million

Double leg break would be preferred.

These are the 1970s/1980s-born glory supporting cunts that lurk about infesting the national press and tv. Equal split Man Utd and Liverpool. Between this and the Twitter schills, it’s clear what we’re fighting.

What is this whole thing that Liverpool are asking for our permission to make a bid. When has this ever been a thing in football transfers ?

Really weird.

Because when the first cheeky low ball bid came in Yasir told them in no uncertain terms to off fuck and don’t come back with another bid. Hence they are waiting to be invited back to the table.
