Imagine the crazy scenes IF he stays, plays again, scores a goal in an away game and the away end just stand in silence then call him a cunt again  (I know it’d never happen. But imagine the message that would send)

I still find it almost impossible to believe that this won’t happen.  More likely IMO they are negotiating with a strict agreement not to leak so as not to raise further the price of our own targets ..

Putting the emotion out of it, if we can get an adequate replacement in tomorrow at a fair price then probably selling him to Liverpool tomorrow for circa £130m is as good as this realistically gets.

It sucks but I think that's probably the best for the club. He's driven his value down significantly if he does stay and it will only be a matter of time before he goes. I wouldn't fancy our bargaining position if we needed to sell him before the PSR window.

I would tend to agree except the adequate replacement part seems quite unlikely.

Unless we've been working on something secretly for a few days I just can't see us signing another striker. We're stuck with  this selfish cunt for the foreseeable.

Yep, no way we should be hastened and strong armed into paying over the odds for JSL so Liverpool can have Mr. Complainy Pants for under the odds

Can't see how selling our best player, one of the best strikers in Europe, to the team we're chasing - for a discount fee, would be as good as it realistically gets.

Someone made a great suggestion earlier in the thread - Liverpool can negotiate with Wolves/Brentford on our behalf and the price for Isak is £100m + whatever his replacement costs.

Because we'd have a replacement, which is clearly the managers preference and the discount fee is only going to get worse next summer. There's more than Liverpool in the league. We'd also see a player leave who doesn't want to play for us. He's not bigger than the club.

My view is if he is to stay, and report back for duty it’s in our best interest to re introduce him to the team, and the fans at least not hate each game, just ignore him and support the team.

We know by now he would like to move on, so our “relationship” is kind of clear.

He should play as good as he can to get a move elsewhere, and we should use him to maximize sales value.

Best would be to sell now for 150m and just move on, but I can’t see it and we simply can’t bend over to Liverpool.

It’s a tricky one like, the reality is he’d probably come back score a few, but also look a lazy cunt at times and miss games with the slightest knock.

Where going to find out soon enough once these despicable cunts lowball us again.

The only way to celebrate would be the poznan.
