This begs the question of why a "he's shit" type narrative is being allowed to fester. The same about Gakpo too. This is when Liverpool are losing games due to conceding goals, not a failure to score them. I know Liverpools defenders haven't exactly been solid either, but Salah not running back has also contributed to their defensive shambles.

To be fair, and he doesn’t deserve fairness. He always seemed nonchalant and stoned in every interview he did anyway. Compare him to other players and I genuinely never warmed to him as a person. It don’t bother me as I just want him to score goal at the end of the day. 
 

but compare him to players like Bruno or even Murphy and almiron. And they are players who you just like as people… even when they play awful.

There’s only 1 player in world football that gets called selfish that has more assists than Salah.  
 

The selfish thing is overplayed significantly. 
 

 

If Slot needs Salah to track back he should tell him.  If he doesn’t do it Salah should be told why he’s dropped. And if you drop Salah you have to win and Slot hasn’t.

I didn’t like how we treated Bobby when he was on the way out.  And I think he was right to want to phase out Shearer.  Lots of people worked to undermine Robson though so when he lost the games there was no choice. We overindulged Shearer towards the end too.  But I don’t think this situation is similar.

I watched many Liverpool games this season, he has been selfish as fuck when he gets the ball.
