The breif makes sense. Even if we're not being entirely sincere,  it means we can stick to our asking price and look at other strikers without getting completely ripped off.

Whether Isak stays or goes, he still needs replacing this window.

Is he good at pens?  Seems he's never taken one professionally in play.

His striking of the ball and set pieces are extremely good and he’s got a steely character. Be amazed if he’s not quality at pens

You hate Luke Edwards

Edward’s is the singular possession i.e. used for something that belongs to Edward

Kudos for the use of unequivocal though

Would you put the statue at gallogate entrance or leases ?

tough one

I don't like Edwards but his wording is probably correct here.

"no chance he will be allowed to leave" = We ain't just letting him go on the cheap on his terms with us looking like passive idiots.

"Liverpool nowhere near matching" = A price likely exists, but Liverpool nowhere near it.

These are not contradictory statements. The message is "pay up or shut up".

My guess is that Liverpool come back in big, maybe not big enough, near deadline day. If someone else hasn't done so first.

Sorry like but that's definitely a backtracking tweet.  Therefore his headline yesterday was clickbait sensationalism. There are terms that must be be met for a sale to happen, which is very different from the player being told "your not moving, no matter what", which is how he painted the situation yesterday.

And based on his claimed "terms of a sale" I'm still not confident Isak stays. If we sign Jackson as the "replacement" that triggers the Isak sale we really are fucking clueless.

Yeah, 'you're not going anywhere' is basically saying 'you're not going anywhere unless someone comes up with an astronomically high number that meets our valuation which seems incredibly unlikely, (so to all intents and purposes, you're going nowhere as no fucker can afford you)'

Every player has a price. Even Wirtz or Salah will be sold if the offer is good enough. So saying ”you will not be sold no matter what” is not true, but Liverpool’s valuation and the current striker market means we are not selling.

If we’ve got nothing lined up then we’re not selling him anywhere near deadline day.

 Were we getting pens?

Gordon alone won 6 in 23/24, the most in a season by any player since VAR was introduced. Only one last time though.

For some folk, pens won don't count as assists. They do on Transfermarkt but not on other sites.

As long as they don't get Jackson in I agree it's unlikely. If we get Jackson & Wissa in though I will be very worried.

After 2 wembley defeats they are clearly going to submit a £150m bid for Isak which we will reject as we haven't signed any replacements.  I can see the bindippers only just finishing top 5 this season.

Yes because they signed one of them. Oh the irony
