Instead of Attack, Attack, Attack. Isak, Isak, Isak.

It's simple, which suits most of our fanbase.

On Isak, he's chronically out of form, yet is still scoring. His touch is even off. God forbid when this fucker finds his party boots again. PSG wouldn't be a bad game.

I think it’s about time the lad has his own song. Gimme, gimme doesn’t get used. I’m no lyricist but I’m sure some bugger can come up with something for the lad.

to the tune of wonderwall by oasis:

Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to Isak
And by now, Isak should've somehow realised what Isaks gotta do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about Isak now

And backbeat, the word is on the street that the fire in Isaks heart is out
I'm sure Isaks heard it all before, but Isak never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about Isak now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to Isak but I don't know how

Because maybe
Isaks gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my Isak

Find it a bit weird that he’s so highly rated by fans of other sides but our lot don’t seem to give him anywhere near the same level of appreciation as players nowhere near his level.

Who's this "our lot"? Twitter users? This forum seems to absolutely love him.

Apart from his isolated games I think this was his poorest game for us. The ball didnt stick to his feet at all.

He scores 2 or 3 when he's in usual pomp in that game.  He is carrying an injury though I think.  Wilson is as well.  We do need a 3rd striker but to get one that competes with those 2 is going to cost more than we can afford to spend when we have issues in other areas.

Anyone not rating this lad as an amazing footballer shouldn’t be watching football. He has games where he looks off it and his stamina needs to improve. He isn’t a target man and likely never will be. However, with the ball at his feet, he’s one of the best strikers in the world and will continue to develop even further. Name another striker who has the close control and dribbling ability of Isak, and then factor in his age and the fact that he’ll continue to improve for several more years

I agree, he is top level.  He will develop into one of the best forwards in world football.  He already would be in the elite if it wasn't for what happened at Dortmund.  He turned down Madrid to join Dortmund at that time as he thought it would be better for his development.

Im not sure why but he rarely played and he lost a good chunk of his development.

Watch the highlights again. He was involved in many of the acts. He needs to be composed when he gets a chance but that only can be achieved when he is fully fit and plays 90 minutes all the time.

That shot which led to Almiron’s goal was very nicely taken on the turn. Was unlucky in a way that he hit it so centrally as it wouldn’t have needed to be much to either side to have gone in due to how well it was struck. Thought he looked tired again from 60 mins and he was quite isolated but he’s such a joy to watch on the ball

First half he was absolutely terrific, wasnt as good in the second but knew his main objective in the second half was to work hard and press and he did that perfectly. His shot for the first goal is really good, one of those where so many strikers mishit and skies it or something, but he gets it down and on target forcing a good save.
