This a goer?

first bid rejected, I can see us revisiting and getting the lad. Covers both RB and RCB (if desperate)

Out of contract in the summer so we'll propably find a solution with West Ham this window

I think he will come  we have been after him for a while and there is no way wet span turn down money for him to lose him for free in the summer unless he qualifys for development compo or whatever they call it

We are really keen on this kid, chased him in the summer and couldn’t get a deal done if reports then were true. Contracts out in the summer? Would be nice to get him in and settled now as he can be eased in and won’t be expected to start, it’s up to West Ham to agree a reasonable fee for someone whos out of contract at the end of the season or we’ll wait no doubt.

Guess we'll just have to sign him on a pre-contract for when his contract ends in the summer then. Shame.

Can't do an official pre contract until he is in the final month of his contract

No doubt we can and probably will agree something unofficially

Another one that sounds like it'll get done. Player wants the move, West Ham will want a few for him and he's a long term target.

Won’t they get some money for him regardless? Will go to a tribunal won’t it with him being under 23 ? Could be wrong mind.

Yes, but it is usually a nominal fee.

The club will have an idea of what they think the fee will be set at and won’t want to go above it.
