Manchester United in general...

Guy makes the wrong decision 99% of the time. Always over complicating everything.

Plays like he's still at school trying to show off one trick or the other that he usually fluffs. Cringeworthy.

They are so shit man, game after game they’re always awful. Rashford’s regression is baffling

Poor finishing today perhaps, but the performance was far from awful.

Be great if we could play league one opposition every week.

I mean, anyone can look good if they’ve got tons of time on the ball. What’s awful was the finishing and your pal Bruno being absolutely desperate for a penalty to finish off league one opposition

Rashford doesn't look like he even gives half a fuck at the minute. Looks like he's playing for himself rather than the team too often, decision making is poor, often takes the shot rather than passing it on, running into 3 defenders too often, head's down and the body language is terrible. He's clearly not shit but there's something very wrong with him atm

Yep but he fed the schoolkids. Now he costs it on what, 300K a week?! ?

Edit. 375K a week. For not doing your job. Sigh.

That's just Rashford. Head down, into traffic and desperate to cut inside and shoot. Last season the shots were flying in, this season they're into row Z.

He's quite fortunate that our only good winger is Garnacho or he wouldn't be near the team.

There was contact so he went down to guarantee the penalty which 99% of modern players do nowadays. If your pal Bruno did it against Sunderland you'd be cheering him on.

It's ironic because the one time he made the right decision and laid it off Dalot curled one in. Every other time he was in a similar position it was head down and take a shot he knew would be blocked, trying only create an opportunity for himself rather than his team.

He either needs an arm around the shoulder or a massive kick up the arse, no idea which

He's had both this season to be fair. He's been horrendous and Ten Hag continued to play him and defend him. Then eventually he was forced to drop him for a few games which should have been the kick up the arse.

He's capable of being a good player, but not sure he has the mindset to consistently deliver.

He's massively culpable for Hojlund having not scored more.

Always dwells on the ball and doesn't get it into him on time before doing something daft.

He is so awful man. I'd be fuming if I were Hojlund.

Garnacho is greedy as well but he's still learning and getting better.

Antony passes backwards.

There's a fantastic player in Hojlund just begging for good service. He should have scored a couple tonight though and only has himself to blame.

Hojlund is not perfect and could have scored tonight, yes, but he deserves far better service, particularly from Rashford.

Garnacho’s great, you never know what he’s going to do, I’m not sure he does either until the last moment

He's so direct. Even if it doesn't work for him he has the defence under pressure.

Proof we don't have to sign overpriced shite as well and can rely on our scouting network. He cost £400k from Atletico.

Fucking howay man  Just be honest, it was a pathetic dive made even more pathetic due to the opposition.

Look in the Almiron thread if you want to see what we think about our players diving, it's certainly not encouraged.

Defender went to ground in the box and made contact and can't have any complaints. Regardless of the simulation it was still a penalty IMO.

They were good for the win, thought they played well in the main, given their opponents. Thought Wigan might punish them for their poor finishing, but a super soft penalty finished the game as a competition. I thought Garnacho and Mainoo played well, but Rashford was pretty horrific again. He seemed to amble around and was selfish on the ball, the first goal was fortuitous due to another Rashford greedy shot that luckily came back to him.

I see that your cup draws are still on point. From Wigan to Newport or Eastleigh. Kind of like when you got Charlton at home in the EFL Cup quarterfinal last season, which was by far the easiest fixture you could get.

Made a post about this last season. You boys get tough cup draws this year and think you're hard done by. You opened your cup runs last year with games against Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere whereas ours was Everton and Villa. The season before it was Burnley and bloody Cambridge whereas ours was Villa and West Ham.

Stop making stuff up.

Wasn’t this your first domestic away cup draw since 2021, excluding semi finals/finals?

The vast majority against Premier League opposition. What's your point? Are you telling me it's a more favourable draw to get a home tie against Villa/West Ham etc. than to get drawn away to sides like Tranmere, Rochdale and Sheffield Wednesday?

Possibly - PL sides at the earlier stages often rest players, don’t take it as seriously. I’d have taken Fulham at home (rather than away) in the draw yesterday, particularly with their fixture congestion via the Carabao over an away trip to say a bang up for it Sheffield Wednesday. Take your point on Rochdale and Tranmere who should rightly be cannon fodder though.
