So Liverpool are a real club, anyone forgot when the Moores family pumped big money into them in the 80’s and others were struggling.

now the Liverpool board are one of the main ones behind psr rules to limit competition…Real club my ass.

and a mention to their fans too. They held a victory parade on the anniversary of Heysal…And regularly attack opposition team’s buses as they enter Anfield.

City will spend alot in January n still win the league, none sense to say it's over already

Even if they spend and hit the ground running they are relying on Liverpool to lose 4 games just to get ahead of them, plus that assumes City won't drop any more points, which they clearly will so you are probably in a situation where Liverpool can afford to lose 6-7 games and still be fine

City are in a top 4 battle, they know the league is done

Their fans have always been a bunch of entitled twats who think other clubs should join in their Mersey anthem as obeisance to their natural right to win everything. They are the main reason I can't stand them.

Aren't Newcastle fans supposed to be 'deluded'? No smoke without a fire, but I don't really get this hatred of other fans when we've only come across a tiny proportion of them and clearly the wrong'uns stick in our minds more (no doubt there's plenty mind, but they're a huge fanbase).

Got no arguments with people having an issue with the 'red cartel' and PL here. But the rules still apply to everyone and there are some pretty serious allegations against City when you factor in the number - it's not really fair if teams like Forest and Everton get punished and they don't. And ultimately we are quite clearly held back by these rules too, so naturally if Man City get let off I really hope that is on the basis of innocence rather than just having a really good lawyer or the like.

Whether many of these rules should exist is of course a good question worth discussing, but still a different matter.

Hated Liverpool since the early eighties... BBC then and SKY now treat them differently and ram them down your throats as this shrine of holiness and don't get me started on 'those special Anfield nights' and that shit poster in the tunnel!

I'd never minded Arsenal but the Spanish Big Sam gets right on my tits as does their online fan base although most clubs have that these days, so that leaves Chelsea, Man City & Man Utd not a great choice but City are the least offensive (to me) out of that list

What have we got to be deluded about? I'm not even sure why we have got this reputation. Based on what? Not even sure why others even care about us enough to call us that considering we've done nothing in half a century.

As for rules I am not even going there. Why would I care about City breaking rules when we've seen them invented specifically to stop us challenging the cartel? I hope the PL get shafted tbh, the whole thing is a stitch up.

Well exactly; it's a reputation that is based on a very limited sample. My point is we can make our judgments on other sets of fans, but given we are in a far better position to comment, clearly our reputation is not accurate. Therefore I'm sure (to some extent at least) it works both ways. Also from my (very limited) experience, I haven't got that view of Liverpool fans tbh.

I don't think we're in a position now to say this is a 'stitch up'. FFP rules have been in place way before the cartel voted in PSR and these charges date back to 2009. The charges allege multiple and consistent breaches over a long time in various ways - PSR only seems to be mentioned explicitly in 7 of them. And I think we should all care because the rules have had a major impact on everyone, with only smaller clubs harmed so far, so why should it be fair they get punished while the most successful team gets away with it? Not like they still haven't been able to spend crazy money legally.

Tbh, although every club has its stereotypical fan traights, the main concern for me now is that we're actually all becoming a cross-club monoculture of entitled customers with a bit of tribalism thrown in to seperate us from each other. Not saying it's the fans' fault either - if we're all treated like expendable customers rather than valued supporters, you can't really be surprised when a lot of people go on like 'I want to talk to the manager' types.
