That Sarr goal was so lucky.

The pass was to the outside of him or to keep running into the box but he goes for a cross to absolutely nobody in the box

He's not clever enough to pull off a goal like that other than to fluke it.

Bournemouth are quality with their aggressive press. But fuck me, they get away with murder. Adams, Christie and Cook all seem to escape blatant yellows on the regular when I watch them.

Think they're style of play, which is, as you mention, aggressive leads to this. Going hard into a tackle doesn't look as intense if you're running your arse off all game.

Iraola is one impressive manager. They aren’t just intense but they’re also very good with the ball unlike us.

They don’t keep the ball most the while. They’re not possession heavy. They’re similar to us when we were at our best. High press, win it back in dangerous areas, fast on the break.

We’ve moved away from that a bit for

various reasons and we don’t look better for it. You do also think teams now know how to bypass our press. In time, that could well happen to Bournemouth too. Especially when they get Europe and more than likely lose a star player or two.

For now, it is a joy to watch, though. Them and Forest have been a breath of fresh air. For all that I am a bit jealous and bitter about it

Wish Bournemouth’s intensity was our identity

Will be interesting to see if they can keep it up with European football next season

Bournemouth just bully teams off the ball man.

They are so impressive physically.

Spurs doing exactly what we did, mind. Not trying anything different to combat their press. Play into trouble almost every time and give Bournemouth a chance every 5 minutes.

Teams seem reluctant to go long or at least direct into the middle these days and Bournemouth are so well set up to combat that.
