That's 2 clubs and 1 man? Why should that affect football overall?

Everyone has tried to copy him. Don’t think you can blame him

as such. It’s clearly effective.

tell me a player he has improved?

Depends on the definition of improved

He’s taken top quality players and got the best from them at his club e.g. Haaland

Is that improving them ?

You are talking about results and title races. I'm talking about the actual football being played on the pitch.

I'm sick of this insipid, possession for possessions sake style of football so many teams are adopting now. Its all very regimented with little room for flair or individuality. Nobody has their own identity now.

That said, I'm probably just being an old man shouting at the clouds.

They're micromanaged to an inch of their lives, so robotic and it's symptomatic of a lot of games that we're watching nowadays. Gary Neville.

Still far prefer the possession style far above the long ball shit we were forced to endure before he came to English football.

Juve looking a lot sharper and better organised under Tudor.

They'll beheading for the title next season you'd imagine

And if they do they'll no doubt celebrate with a Bloody Mary.

Or with a game of ten-pin Boleyn.

It was interesting the point Fernandes made in his post match interview about VAR taking away a lot of the edge of the derbies like this. No doubt it contributes to sanitising games a fair bit.

I hate it me. Could forgive it if they got everything spot on but they don’t, and therefore I don’t see a point.

If we are going to utilise technology, bring in semi automated offsides only.

Vlahovic gets pushed over too easily.

Considering his size, not that great physically.

What a strike that is on the volley. Locatelli 1-0. Lloyd Kelly to Juventus is ON

1-1 FT. Still on a knife edge, Juve have some easier games but Bologna and Lazio still to play away.

Neville was right. That shit was pathetic. There has to be a point where it stops working that way...enter Mr Eddie Howe...anyone who thinks we should get rid of him, despite winning a cup, even if we lose on Monday needs their head checked and spread the cheeks with no lube ...IMHO

I'm not sure that Pep's heart is really still in it. I wouldn't be surprised if he left at the end of the season.

I also wonder whether Phil Foden would be better off elsewhere. He was one of the best players of his age group in the world, and perhaps the best, but his game doesn't seem to have developed in the way that it ought, over the last 2 years. City's style is quite regimented, and I think he needs more freedom.

The post-match discussion was spoilt by Roy Keane and his usual rants about making more effort. Izzy and Micah were doing their best to raise the tone, but they were fighting a losing battle.

Thought Neville was spot on with his comments. It’s the first time in a while when I watched a match and it was actually a bit jarring how tentative the whole thing was, especially for a derby. All very strange.

I guess this is a natural consequence of a broader shift from expressive individualistic players to a team unit.
