Optimistic Nut
1 minute ago, Disco said: It has just the quality isn’t as concentrated in 1-4 teams anymore. I think the fact we have an upper mid-table team who could make the Semis shows a lot.
toon25
Legit like watching Enrique's Barca side here. Love watching football at this level

Unsure how to put it into words but the overall quality of the PL this season hasn’t been great I don’t think. Even from Liverpool who’ll win the title and only lost 2 games. And they couldn’t get near PSG at times despite the parity appearing scoreline across the 2 games. It has been a bit weird season. Top 4 has been below the usual level but feels like the midtable all the way down to Brentford have been a lot stronger than usually. A non 'top' club, literally never been in the European Cup / Champions League for 43 years, likely to finish 7th in their domestic league this year, but then win it. Of course we as fans would love it if we won next year, but it wouldn't be great for the vast majority of football fans having such a random winner who barely ever compete in it. I know what you mean. Villa haven't paid their dues yet, so it would be as if they hadn't really earned the victory in the normal way.
Kanj
I sound like an Mbappe hater but I just think he forces teams to be less of a team with how he plays.

Lush Vlad
7 minutes ago, Ikon said: Ridiculous technical ability in this PSG team. It’s how good they are all over. They press like demons off the ball. They’re all very technical and cute with their touches and passing. But they don’t mind having a shot or taking their man on, either. They can mix it up. Throw in the fact they all seem really athletic and fast. They’re a bit of a juggernaut as a team. I guess the only criticism of them is they are a bit wasteful at times in the final third and struggle breaking down a low block. Should have been out of sight against Liverpool and probably again here.

It's a tale as old as time in football. I think Man City have regressed because of Haaland. Plenty of goals but a worse team because of the focus on one player. It's by no means saying those players aren't great, just that it hinders some sides when it's fine margins that matter.
midds
PSG have looked the best team in the CL for the last few months, they've got something about them. Villa aren't out of this but they're clinging on atm, it'll take a very, very good side to knock PSG out this year
54
Obviously a long way to go, but a PSG vs Barcelona final would be really fun.
Lush Vlad
Just noticed King Lewy has bagged a brace for Barca. Quite the season he’s having. He looked miles past it last season. But he’s back to his machine-like self.

The individual team. Pep’s playing 4 CBs at times. Needs a 6ft midfielder. Got a 6’4 striker. He’s lost his own recipe.
