These commentators are so annoying "is such a young squad". they have spent billions and sold their women team, hotel and pretty much their soul in the process. Not everything has to be an underdog story. The rich team won. That's it.

I think one of them said it’s a lovely club

Cole Palmer has to be the most gormless man on the planet. You could hang utensils off his bottom lip and I don't think he'd notice.

Joe Cole going on about how cool he is/was in that interview. I think he's deliberately just being an awkward prick.

Utterly predictable from the second it was confirmed that they were in it.

I feel foolish for hoping Betis had a chance. That's the sixth best team in Spain made to look incredibly poor by a PL side who've been pretty unimpressive this calendar year (can't believe we contrived to finish below them ffs). As soon as Chelsea decided to turn up in that fixture they played well and the gulf in quality of the players looked extremely stark.

I thought Betis were pretty pathetic in that second half TBH. Even notwithstanding the difference in resources. Barely strung as pass together and limp as fuck at each end.

Hopefully Forest's appearance in the competition next season puts the PL's inevitable dominance on ice for a year.

From the BBC HYS section.

"When West Ham won this trophy a couple of seasons ago a prominent Chelsea podcast described it as "a trophy for the kids that get picked last in PE".

I actually think England, and indeed all the top 5 European Leagues shouldn’t have an entrant into the Conference League. Let’s swap it with up with other nations so we get Europa League slots, and they get Conference League slots that they stand a chance of going further in.

Its been made a mockery of this season.

Felt like Newcastle being in the Northumberland Senior Cup or something.

The expansion of the top four, top top six, to us and Villa joining in means its likely clubs from that will be in the Europa and Conference indefinitely and should be winning it. After the chaff gets weeded out its a two-legged affair against the other better teams so the one-off off-chance is reserved only for the final.
