I heard the usual pundits talking it up as transformative but I thought I was missing something, 70m for a player who did mostly fuck all for several years at Chelsea. Stifler
How hasn’t Alan Smith been peddled yet? Offers absolutely fuck all but an Arsenal love in on commentary.

Can’t begrudge them that. They figured out what was missing and changed it.

Paullow
Liverpool (H) West Ham (A) Luton (H) Forest (H) Bournemouth (A) Villa (H) Chelsea would have realistically been hoping for around 12 points from those 6 fixtures, especially with 4 of them being at home. They've only taken 5.
Cronky
Easy to forget that Spurs were in the top four at the time when Conte threw his tantrum and put their season on the skids. They do have some good players, and Maddison is a good buy for them. It took Arsenal a long time to recover from conceding that second goal. It was a real killer. Entertaining game, though. toon25
One of the funniest things about Chelsea is that their squad didn't even need to be replaced - and certainly not to the tune of a fucking billion.

Ghandis Flip-Flop
Chelsea are hilarious like. I’ve said it before but spending a billion on potential is mental. Especially given the fact they’ve sold potential with PL experience to fund it. I couldn’t help but think watching Tomori on Tuesday that he'd instantly walk into their starting 11. The same for the likes of Abraham too. They’ve not had a coherent plan for ages tbh
