Yeah, a good friend of mine is familiar with some of the guys at Arsenal, and apparently that's really what they're like. The youngsters are apparently very close and hang out together all the time, but doing the most simple things like watching movies and playing video games. Apparently all really good kids. KaKa Posted January 22, 2023 Share Posted January 22, 2023 Really good little cameo from Trossard today I thought, and it proved to be a key substitution. Martinelli was full of energy and running, but lacked a bit of subtlety at times, in releasing the ball at the right time and also misplacing some passes. Wan Bissaka is also really tough to beat one on one and so he couldn't really cause as many problems that way either. Trossard was instrumental in that last move that gets the goal and also did a good job maintaining possession at the end to see out the game. Think he'll do really well for them. I don't even bother discussing such things anymore because it is honestly so utterly pathetic, I refuse to even acknowledge it. But yeah, regardless of how those guys might come across there's no denying they love the club and they put a heck of a lot of time into all the stuff they do on that channel and clearly spend a ton of money on all sorts of merchandise and going to the matches etc. They may be a bit over the top, but hey, loads of fans are, it's probably a truer representation of what fans are really like. Thought to myself today after he came on “fuck me he’s going to be perfect for Arsenal” He brings something else to them, another dimension, that they don’t have currently. They’re a lovely passing side but they have needed someone like him who is completely comfortable carrying the ball 50+ yards himself and letting the play develop around him before passing (like it did for their goal).
