Bar Rodri, what on earth has gone wrong with city?

KDB legs gone and Foden form gone. That’s all their creativity gone.

Their transfer business has been fucking awful too. Savinho / Doku as wingers is bad. Like West Ham have better wingers :D Then defensively, Walker has dropped off a cliff, and they have no other natural full backs.

Doku is dangerous but he loses the ball absolutely loads. Led to the 2nd goal too. Feels like the kind of player Pep would hate.

Pep is so weird man. A number of their signings make no sense.

Both Doku and Nunes are so ill suited to their style of play.

They are really more high tempo players that are better in teams that transition from back to front quicker and can exploit open space.

Nunes was so good at Sporting especially. Such a waste in that Man City side. Seen us linked here and there. Hope we can nick him for cheap off them at some point. Would give us a more robust and dynamic version of what Willock offers when he's on it.

Grealish terrible, others mention Doku/Savinho, Walker struggling, Rico Lewis looks like he has no place in the team, don't get me wrong he's a nice player, but there's no real position he can make a real claim for, definitely not good enough or disciplined enough to play fullback, and although he often finds himself in midfield, he isn't of the calibre to make a claim on a midfield spot.

Its tough on City right now, they're looking like they need to spend.

They’ve spent already, just need to make the right buys.

Selling of their academy wave has fucked them too IMO. Lavia / Palmer / Harwood-Bellis / Delap all are players that can contribute to their first team, but got sold to fund likes of Kovacic / Doku etc.

Feels we’ve seen the peak of Man City as a club now, and they could have a spell of like Chelsea in the 2010s. Up and down, but will get it right again as a new wave of kids come through later this decade with some strong buys (because they will always have funds).

Feel like people writing City off after a mid-season wobble are asking for trouble.

Feels like so much more than just a mid season wobble this like, they've never had one like this. Not just the losing but the way they're losing, they're not even in games.

Thankfully they've got pretty much the easiest home match you could ask for on Sunday so they'll get a morale boosting few goal win.

They probably will. If they lost to us at home it would be the worst of the lot.

They're having a poor season and have some ageing players, but I'd be surprised if it's something £200m and Guardiola won't be able to fix.

They’ll probably come in for Bruno and Isak next month.

Haaland is too one-dimensional.  Man City’s policy around signing him, Grealish and Phillips reeked of singing them just so no one else could.
