Bristol City are garbage, haven't seen much of the Championship this season but these being 5th isn't a great endorsement of the division

Mackems are nailed on to play someone dreadful in the play-offs, whether it's them or Millwall or Blackburn, doesn't matter and they'll probably win. Terrible standard but plenty of excitement in a lot of games is the general gist I have from what i've seen. No team down there is prepared for the chasm between the top 2 leagues. Best case for the promoted teams is 17th and build from there like Forest did.

Break psr like Forest, stay up and take the hit to build after.

Yeah basically what I meant. The 3 promoted teams from last season were never staying up, it was hardly a reasonable argument at any point. Leicester and Southampton were an embarrassment, lost about 25 home games between them. Only Ipswich had a tiny chance thanks to some half decent away results (they were pitiful at home as well) and I give them credit for taking it as far as they did. You need to be prepared to spend a ton and there's no guarantees you won't go straight back. But maybe yo-yoing for a few seasons, trading as much as possible, can get the finances into a position where it's possible to come up and stay up.

Leicester were best positioned for me to stay up. Experienced squad, competent manager if unspectacular. But they got itchy early, panicked and went with Rudd because he did well against them.

When you look at Cooper results, Man Utd game was only bad defeat, rest turned out against top half sides, whilst they picked points up against sides that have turned out to be bottom half. As the season went on, they would’ve kept chugging along.

It’s mad how RVN has picked up points in just 2 of the last 18 league games and he’s still in charge :D

Maybe a clause in his contract and cheaper to sack him when season complete 🤷🏼‍♂️

Always felt like Cooper would have been a safe pair of hands for them.

Not arsed myself, but my mam was looking forward to the Arse game and it's on Prime rather than TNT? WTAF. I can just about accept spreading the games during earlier stages, but demanding two subscriptions at the semi final? Fucking scandalous that like.

Among the playoff chasing teams none of the top3-6 are in good form & most inform teams are blackburn & millwall.

Although the later two have the toughest opponent on paper, sheffield & Burnely respectively.

With title on the line Burnley might be just too tough for millwal but blackbuck can thump sheffield into playoffs.

In that case with 5 wins in a row blackburn would definitely be the promotion favour.

For a second there I thought we where just going to get Guy Mowbray on his own, the best UK Commentator, commentating on Amazon without any of the dreadful "banter" from the co-comms you get force fed these days. It was a moment of bliss. Than he introduced Shearer. Sigh.

Edit: Today I learnt I suck at differentiating voice, it's Jon Champion
