Agreed but he deserves credit. Qualified for 2 euros and a World Cup after decades in the doldrums. He’s just too negative tho

Fair play to Scotland. They’ve had a brilliant campaign and thoroughly deserve their place. I’ll look forward to watching them and the energy they’ll bring ahead of some no-mark vorpsrung durch European country there to make the numbers up / be difficult to break down.

 

Hjulmand for Denmark gave one of the most pitiful performances I can ever remember in a game of such magnitude. Wouldn’t like to be him when he gets off the plane.

Boro fans generally hate Newcastle (and obviously the mackems) and have a gigantic chip on their shoulders about the fact that the 2 north east clubs see them as being insignificant and that they have no real rivals.

I'm really chuffed for them me. Watching Scotland is like watching Newcastle I feel. Just proper wholesome, passionate, love the party, loving a good time. The sense of achievement and not just taking things for granted. I mean, it is also a bit small time some might argue and that we're now trying to move onto bigger, better things, but I don't know, just feels from "from the heart".

my Celtic supporting workmates ridiculed Newcastle having a bus parade for winning the carabao cup and I said Newcastle winning that means more to me and the Newcastle fans than Celtic winning the double meant to them because they win everything. It’s the same tonight this is only ‘qualifying for a world cup’ but it means so much cos was first time in 27 years

Absolutely buzzing for Scotland and especially the fans. I think everyone on planet earth outside of Denmark could agree than Scotland bring far more fun to a World Cup than Denmark!

Hope the Scots on here enjoy their night!

Celtic celebrate winning the Scottish Premiership which is like us celebrating League One promotion.

My god. Scotland were a mess and an absolute joke before Steve Clarke arrived. It's absolutely all down to him. He knows his football.
