Just caught up on the highlights myself (woke baby woke up around the 75 minute mark last night 🙄). I called Scotland uninspiring last night but that has to be one of the most epic and inspiring conclusions to a game you can see. Commentary absolutely made it, too. Magical stuff, good for them.

I'm really not bothered abut international football and the increasingly plastic tournaments given (sold) to dodgy hosts without a single consideration for real football fans.

That said, for a while I've enjoyed watching the other home nations much more than England, who I don't watch at all nowadays.

 

It's different, players from smaller clubs playing their hearts out on a stage much bigger than they're used to with a sprinkling of top end players adding to the mix.

The England team and football is just so boring and uninspiring in comparison.

Last night was an absolute classic.

I'm still grateful for the existence of the England team due to how many years it was the only decent team I had to follow.

I always want the home nations to do well. Newcastle comes first but I support England, I want them to do well. Be class if England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Nothern Ireland all qualified for the World Cup.

If you replace the T in his username with the letter B, keep the O, replace the second O with R and replace the N with another O, then delete Monkey123 from his username is spells out "BORO".

That’s unfortunate, England have been really good the last few games.

 

I love watching the Home Nations, generally want them to win and was made up when Ireland qualified. That said, this Scottish team somehow blundering their way through is hilarious. They’ve been absolutely awful.
 

Put this ref on the list as yet another illustration of English refs not actually being as bad as they could be. Classic bad reffing from a top European ref - make cards a total lottery, favour the home team, feel free to flat-out guess what actually happened based on player reactions if you didn’t see it.

 

Would love all the Home Nations and Ireland to qualify from the toughest FIFA WC qualifying system.

Got to be honest I don't really understand how the qualification process works nowadays, just thought that they let all the bigger nations in eventually, or they soon will anyway. 

England just seem to beat everyone in qualification, hardly ever conceding and then fuck up as soon as they meet anyone half decent in the finals, even when they're virtually given a bye to the semis.

I shouldn't really comment on international tournaments though as admittedly I don't pay much attention to them
