He played plenty before getting benched and wasn’t dragging them to results like he seems to think he would be, the new contract is now looking costly. I don’t think he’s completely fell off in less than half a season, it’s just that team is dogshit all round and all the individuals suffer for it. At an educated guess I’d suggest that their own league is of level, if not more importance to them than Newcastle United. They have invested far more money into it than they have here.
