Which players in the PL get into PSGs side?

Haaland probably walks in any side (save for Bayern), but I’m struggling after that. Perhaps Gabriel and Saliba, and they’d probably have Van Dijk but he’s past his best for me.

Haaland isn’t a good enough footballer for this PSG side. Dembele suits them perfectly

Think Bayern go through now like. Couldn't understand PSG trying to slow things down a bit there. Don't think a 1 goal advantage will be enough to take to Germany.

It’s not like PSG won’t score goals there either though.

I fancy PSG to win there as well.

What a game, representing everything the premier league isn’t.

Speak for yourself. Would much rather watch an Arsenal set piece or a Brentford long throw.

I think they'll score (they've only failed to score twice this season v Paris FC and Atletico) but I could see Bayern getting another 3 or 4. Bookies do have PSG as slight favourites to qualify (3/4 and evens for Bayern).

Any club would take Haaland or Kane, I don't get this narrative than strikers who are goal machines aren't "good footballers" Haaland movement is unbelievable

But Dembele is a better fit.  Dembele plays like a 10, a winger, a striker etc.  that’s perfect for this PSG side where everyone is constantly rotating.

Luis Enrique said ideally he would have a squad of players that could play anywhere.  Dembele encapsulates that perfectly - 2 footed, quick, strong, creative, ball carrying, finishing, link up, stretch defences etc. can play every forward position.  Haaland can’t not good enough as an overall player.

I think a prime Benzema suits this team.  Because he too could do it all. The teams style would barely change.

Gabriel, Saliba, Rice and Haaland. Hall.

Pacho is better than Gabriel imo. Think Saliba would be his partner and Bruno would be a great stylistic fit for their midfield alongside Neves and Vitinha.

Was thinking also about Real, and how probably only Courtois would get into their team. Kvaratskhelia is who Vini dreams of being.

Mbappe is getting in surely

Isak on full form would be a good fit for PSG in terms of dynamism and pace and power

Tonali would be good in Bayern’s side

Hall for both

Bruno for PSG

Aye fair, forgot about him somehow. Although I don't think it's as clear cut as it sounds, Doue, Dembele and Kvaratskhelia are all capable of individual brilliance in the way Mbappe is, but all three of them are fantastic playmakers too in a way Mbappe perhaps isn't.

You would probably still have him in there though as he's arguably still better than all three of them on his day. Although I am biased towards Kvaratskhelia due to living in Georgia.

Mbappe is proven to make that side worse [emoji38]

Think Vini gets in if he’s willing to graft like he used too. He has that positional flexibility.  Kvara is great but Vini would be crucified if Vini had Kvara’s Ligue 1 output.

Outside of that I think Jude or Valverde have a chance due to the stamina, positional flexibility, work rate.

Do you think Vini has the composure and range of finishing ability Kvaratskhelia has? Kvaratskhelia can score all types of goals. I also think he's far more aggressive, has a much higher work rate and is more physical than Vini. Three attributes which are instrumental in facilitating the big moments he comes up with.

Again I'm biased, but Kvaratskhelia is a far better watch than Vini, and simply a better football player imo.

I’m not really biased in this. In recent years I question Vini’s work rate and tendency to overplay but there isn’t anything Kvara can do and has done that Vini hasn’t.

Talk about big moments. Vini’s scored in 2 tight CL finals including a winner. Multiple goals and assists in CL SF, QF.  Think he has the most CL knockout goal contributions since 2020.

Kvara seems to work harder these days and has a lot less mileage in his legs.

Wider than this. Barely having a league competition is a big reason for his good PSG (and Bayern) look in March/April/May. Thats a major reason for their ‘major moments’ rather than having some clutch abilities.
