The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Yeah I dont think Villa is overhyped at all. They had alot of poor results understably after their CL games before they filled out their squad in January. Would have been more scared of them if they were at equal points/GD as City.

All rests on getting Howe back for us imo. Should be okay against Ipswich, but if he isn’t back after that, I think we struggle to make top 5.

I think on balance we can just about manage they Brighton away match too but I agree regarding the Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton matches.

Europa League is at least a competition we could win. Missing out on CL to City/Villa/Chelsea will just set us back domestically by a couple of years.

Not getting CL now from where we put ourselves would be a huge huge setback. It’s still very much in our hands

Have us down to lose the Arsenal and Brighton games. Really need to be on it Vs Chelsea at home

If we lose away at Brighton at this stage of the season when they have little to play for, we probably don't deserve CL football.

We need to be on it every game.

If someone said win the cup and get europa I would have snapped their hand off. Obviously want champions league but just going to enjoy the run in, instead of worrying about anything else.

This is the way

If anything costs us, it's going to be our squad depth.

I think it’s between us Chelsea and Forest. Because I think Villa will beat City, and City’s run in is easy after that.

I'm the opposite. Villa are very unconvincing away from home. Their underlying numbers are terrible, granted they've improved in recent weeks.

I would’ve said yes prior to our league position following recent results. For it will be a huge disappointment not to get CL now and have significant ramifications this summer but what will be will be.

They have pace and a channel runner and showed in the second half they can get tight high. Basically the thing that clapped us yesterday.

That was their first away win since the 8th December and they did it in the last minute against a team that's on the beach. If we can't beat Chelsea at home (which I think we will) we want shot with shit, they belong nowhere near this CL race.

They are just trying to be relentlessly positive.

It's been a great season whatever happens, but of course it would be hugely disappointing to miss out on CL from the position we have put ourselves in.

The players, staff and management would feel the same.

Back after Ipswich I think based on absolutely nothing
