Can't see them wanting Chelsea in the Champions League and boosting themselves financially for next season?

I dont think players think like that. Half of them dont know the name of the stadium they are playing at away from home.

We have a very difficult final 4 games. Gonna have to pull out some fantastic performances.

Man City have a much easier run in.

Chelsea have a fairly difficult run in too.

Forest have a favourable run in.

Villa have an equally favourable run in.

Chelsea and ourselves have far and away the hardest run ins.

I'm a pessimist by nature (I've had an awful life) so I fancy Europa League at best. Which I'd be happy with. I'd be fine with Conference League football too as that could be a great chance at winning a European trophy, just look at the teams Chelsea have had to contend with.

Champions League is too soon considering how thin our squad is. We can save that for next season or the one after.

Have you though? Perhaps the shit-tinted glasses are at work here ‘Mag below Par’ :naughty:

CL is vital for holding onto and attracting certain players this summer never mind the world of PSR. Our squad is thin but the new format of the champions league makes it more manageable with recruitment. Also give your head a wobble and have a bit of positivity ffs 😂 We’re 3rd and have every chance of qualifying.

I don't think anyone has a really easy run in:

Us:

Brighton (A) - We hate it here, but they aren't in the best form

Chelsea (H) - Ill take us home against anyone, tough game though

Arsenal (A) - Only 1 most would put down as loss, but we're 3-0 up on games against them this season

Everton (H) - Solid, but not great and will be with Tarkowski, would take a poor performance for us to lose

Man City:-

Wolves (H) - They are 6 from 6 in the league, only team in better form than us in the last 6 games

Southampton (A) - Easy as it gets tbf

Bournemouth (H) - Not in the best form, but still not easy with the way they play and players they have

Fulham (A)  - Are a pretty good side

Chelsea we all agree have a pretty hard run in:-

Liverpool (H)

Us (A)

Man U (H) - Only 1 on paper you'd say should be a win

Forest (A) - Massive game

Forest which I keep hearing is an easy run in:-

Brentford (H) - Play direct and defend quite deep, not what forest like

Palace (A) - Play a back 3 and defend well, will be buzzing after today

Leicester (H) - Easy as it gets

West Ham (A) - Never an easy place to go, but also easyish on paper.

Chelsea (H) - Massive game

Villa -

Fulham (H) - Pretty good side, can Villa pick it up again after another disappointment

Bournemouth (A) - Tough game, although not in great form

Tottenham (H) - Weirdd side, but pretty poor

Man U (A) - Another weird team, but away here is never a given

Positions wise I reckon we all finish where we are now, but I'd hope for Chelsea and Forest to switch just because I dislike Chelsea more

Hoping that 4 more points does it, wouldn't be confident about 6

We're been going at a rate of nearly 3 wins every 4 games for about 5 months now. Obviously it's not a certainty but how can you not be confident of winning 1 every 2.

no - they'll be celebrating all week and won't give a fuck about their remaining games

Fair enough. I always have other teams walking it in games where I feel we might struggle. Force of habit.

Brighton is tricky but winnable given their form then it comes down to Chelsea home match which you’d fancy rather than going away to them ffs. They weren’t great today.

Next weekend is a big weekend with the fixtures.

There’s a possibility of Liverpool not turning up. But the idea of ‘not being able to see it’ Liverpool have lost two games all season and they’re playing a rival, that’s just silly.

People get off on being pessimistic here so they can be smug if we fail. Look at the relegation thread in Howe’s first year, was insufferable.

One more win to secure Europa league which is the absolute minimum we needed to achieve this season. 2 more wins to guarantee CL. Good position to be in.

If Palace win FA Cup then 7th place misses out of Europa….Not that i think we are going to be out of the top 6, but you never know.

We have a bastard run in. Man City will take 3rd imo. 4/5/6 not sure.

It's in our hands, that's all we can ask for. Remarkable season regardless. In the words of Edward "the next game is always the biggest". It really is. If we can get 3 points of Brighton we are almost home.

I really hope they do turn up I just think it's unlikely and I certainly wouldn't be smug about it it'll just annoy me

Interesting to see how Forest mentally handle doing a bit of chasing next match. Brentford is an awkward as fuck game for them.

And they are playing Palace away then..If Palace play the way they played this evening Forest could drop points here too
