We’ll be a tough game for them

Been thinking about a draw all week. In an ordinary game I'd probably expect that. Hope and expect our desire and the necessity for us will make the difference.

I’ve been thinking about Cindy Beale all week

We’ve got the ability and mentality to beat Everton at our place in a potentially “must win” game

No point stressing, we should be confident but not complacent

Saying this now before the mad meltdown that will happen in this thread after our match is over today. We aren't getting anything away at Arsenal without Joelinton and Isak but it's irrelevant as we will still win next week so everyone needs to stay calm.

Hopefully Isak is back next week.

We need one more point to be mathematically certain of Europa League, correct?

yes due to the Forest vs City situation. But we will struggle to get it without Isak

We’ll just have to make out own luck today…

It'll be 3 or 4 to nil today. Worried about the Gd swing. Hopefully forest can contain Chelsea last game.

So the lowest we can finish now is sixth?

Still 7th. Nothing positive has happened in the 4 matches that affected us this weekend thus far.

Well, all 5 results in league and cup unfortunately went against us this weekend, but if we were to lose and Chelsea were to win, at least both were just by the 1 goal, so we should have at least 6th (and Europa) wrapped up. If Chelsea do lose to Forest next week then we would have to lose to Everton by at least 4 goals to finish as low as 7th. Had we lost 2-0 and Chelsea won 3-0, or vice versa, then even 6th wouldn't have been sewn up.

Edit - not that Howe was bothered about any of that with Pope going up

This game was always a bit of a free hit, still in our own hands, that's all we could have realistically asked for. So I'm content tbh :)
