The place will be jumping if we get it done. Yep, year after year with nothing to play for. Apart from 11/12 the closest it got to this intense were those two failed relegation fights, and promotion. We're not always going to be in a scenario where it's in our hands to beat a bottom half team at home to qualify for the Champions League.
ExiledGeordie
It’s been a brilliant season winning a cup for the first time in 70 years and whatever happens Howe and the players deserve huge amounts of credit. I do think missing CL considering where we’ve been sitting and what it could mean and the ramifications on recruitment and PSR it’d be a massive missed opportunity and a bit of a low and deflating at least temporarily. “If” we haven’t got it in us to put Everton away on Sunday (I think we will for that matter) then we will have to accept we just haven’t quite been good enough. bobbydazzla
Lads and lasses, if you can’t deal with the so called “jeopardy” that comes with being a successful competitive side, then you really should get some proper counselling for NUFC PTSD so you can start to enjoy life again We’ve won a cup, we’re in pole position to qualify for the CL and yet there’s people on here acting like the Sword of Damocles is hanging over our heads If you can’t feel positive about our current situation then you’ve definitely got some serious issues with anxiety, perspective and catastrophic thinking Enjoy it man. Stop fretting. The sky isn’t falling in. What will be, will be Edited 11 hours ago by bobbydazzla

James
This is the most difficult league in the world, underlined by the fact that two strugglers are in the Europa League final. the fact that we went into game 37 with second place in our hands and nearly won the game is incredible progress. This is the best season in my lifetime regardless of what happens against Everton.

500bhp
Next season we need to improve our away record against top half teams. It's shite frankly. P9 W1 D1 L7 and no clean sheets. If you include current teams at 11-13 it's still only one win. That's two thirds of the league. We lose too easily away at the top teams. I'm sure Howe will be onto this already. I never said there was 🤷 However, we'd have a great chance at another trophy, and it's also a route to the UCL Win a trophy and finish top 6 and STILL people moan 🤦 Edited 9 hours ago by patrone

Only if we let the lunatics take over the asylum I'm on a pure buzz for Sunday In 2021 I couldn't stand the sight of the hollowed out shell of what used to be my football club In early 2022 we were staring down the barrel of relegation Now it's 2025 we have a trophy in the bag, Europe in the bag and a very strong chance of ending the season with our second CL qualification in 3 years And I'll be there. Making a racket. With a positive attitude. Doing my little bit to give the lads the backing they need to get the job done Edited 9 hours ago by bobbydazzla

That's right. To finish 7th we'd need; Villa win/draw Forest win Newcastle lose by at least 4 goals eg. Forest 2-1 Chelsea, Newcastle 0-4 Everton would (I think) have Chelsea in 6th above us on goal difference (+19 to +18)

Ensures our CBs get a good amount of games, then that added star power in final third can win games. Whats balanced it out is the home form against similar top sides. We’re always competitive and those sides will see a point as a big result. Edited 9 hours ago by Sibierski
