Joey47
Anyone know how the prize money compares between winning the Europa League and exiting the Champions League in the league phase?

So every teamfaces two pot 1 sides, 2 from pot 2 etc. So everyone gets the same spread of difficulty more or less. Thats my understanding anyway. It's why I'd fancy us to do what Villa have done. There's no handicap to being in pot 4 anymore.

They will have zero fight for Sunday. They stank the place out in a major European final last night what makes anyone think it’ll be different on Sunday ive long realised Villa were getting max points out their last 2 games we just need to win ourselves. all the more reason to put themselves in the shop window

Lordshola
We just need to win. Just one game. Just a measly 3 points is all we need. It’s not even asking for much.

Forest and Chelsea draw then a draw for us would mean we finish above both of them. We lose and one of those 2 won then the winner would finish above us and we'd be relying on Villa to lose....i think.
Wolfcastle
Basically Forest, Chelsea, Villa have to better our result
Tsunami
We’ll win on Sunday. Villa will thump Man U, they’re absolute cannon fodder to Villa’s strengths. City will get something at Fulham. I fancy Chelsea to beat Forest but that could be a very nervous game for both teams. Forest will sit back, Chelsea will have loads of possession and fanny around. At some point if it’s goalless one of them will need to roll the dice.
black_n_white
I actually fancy Forest to beat Chelsea. Villa win, Man City possibly a draw. It’s not out of the question we draw too if Isak is out. Not sure what that set of results mean for us?

With matches being played simultaneously and with a goal potentially being scored at any time I’d hate to go into the 90th minute with both games poised at 1-1. We need to put these Scouse twats to bed in the first half.

Is this a general question or do you mean what's the lowest we could finish? Although unlikely there is a scenario where we could finish 7th and therefore go into Europa Conference For that to happen Villa and Forest would need to win, plus we'd need to lose by 4 more than Chelsea

I want the Champions League of course as it's the premier competition and we're a good cup side now. I'm not saying we'd win it but we could get as far as Villa did this year. Would really help with the finances, club profile and player retention. However, if we do end up in the Europa I'll make my peace with it. We'd have a good chance of winning it which would bring UCL the following year, would be another trophy, bring in a decent amount of money, and would also raise the profile. The final being at Beşiktaş would be big for me personally too if we were to get there. Would be more pressure to win it though and the games wouldn't be as big. The College Dropout
I do think it's super tough to have a good Europa League campaign and a good league campaign in the PL. That's not our portion. CL is us.

Unbelievable
I won't contemplate any scenario where we don't qualify for CL. It's absolutely imperative that we do for the project to continue to progress as well as it has done. Qualifying for Europa League, with the expectation that we should give it a real go as it seems winnable, with a squad lacking in numbers (of the required quality) to sustain it while also staying in the fight for CL qualification next season could mean another season like last year's is on the cards for 2025/26 and then it would feel like we are so close but just cannot make that last step (due to PSR constraints). Qualify for CL, invest the extra revenue from prize money and especially commercial revenue increases that should follow wisely, and we could cement our place as top four regulars in the coming years, and perhaps even challenge for a title if things go our way. Howay the lads, let's smash Everton on Sunday and make this season a truly memorable breakout one!
