Stifler
A draw next week and we will only need to win 3 games in my opinion.

Guest
I think Villa, Brighton and Liverpool would have still be a threat if there'd been another 3 games or so.
et tu brute
The two massive games are spurs at home and Brighton. Mind Brighton's run in is tough, they have Villa, Man City, Man U, Arsenal and us (if I'm right)

When you also see who has to play who, its still looking very good for us with points and GD on the board. It still looks like 65 points and good GD will beat fifth. I expect fourth to outperform this, I expect us to get 68 or more, but I still think whoever's 5th will get 65 or fewer. Just look at Brighton or Villa's fixtures. Kanji
We could use Villa wobbling a bit. Edited April 15, 2023 by Kanji
Scotty66
Who are Brightons extra games against? They have 9 to play but flashscores only show the remaining 7 fixtures?

The College Dropout
We need wins as to not let the others get into the race. Need to get 7 points from the next 3 and a W against Spurs.
Novocastrian
Beat Spurs and Brighton and we should be almost there.

Scotty66
Brighton win their game in hand and beat us they're theoretically a point behind. Honestly think they are the team to watch out for! Edited April 15, 2023 by Scotty66

Yeah, same. It's strange, it's been a fantastic season, the best for years and years and a massive contrast the Bruce years. I should be enjoying each game as it comes, but while there's something to hang on to, I just want the games to keep ticking off and us hopefully at least maintaining our grip. Those can still catch us, but if we beat like Soton, Leicester and one other, it will make it hard for them to pass us, and it does fell like they will run out if games. The College Dropout
Brighton also play a double pivot and try to get their wide players in behind fullbacks and defenders. We need an actual plan for that.
Disco
Also, Brighton getting to the cup final would likely see them tail off a little a bit like we did.
The Prophet
Man United 1/8 Newcastle 3/10 Brighton 4/1 Spurs 11/2 Liverpool 9/1 Villa 25/

Yeah, it's not easy to enjoy the games despite it already being an amazing season. That underlying feeling of dread that Europa League would be a massive letdown from the position we are in right now. Think they are favoured in the semifinal considering all the injuries Man Utd have, hope they can do it.

Aye, I see people worrying a bit about Villa but if we win only 4 out of 8, they'd need to win 6 and draw 1 of their last 7 and they have some tough games. Still think it's between us & Spurs, possibly Brighton if they beat us up here but we could have a pretty average end to the season and still nick it from here.
