Wonder if anyone in the Platinum Club will turn up for this one, was a shame to see that section empty against Leicester

I think that empty bit was more the directors area than the Plantinum Club. Although not sure exactly where each one starts and ends?

Think you're right, Platinum Club is either side of the directors seat section, and it was the central section which was the area with the big chunk of empty seats.

But the point still stands that the section shouldn't be empty when it's a sold out 1/4 final and people are scrambling for tickets every home game.

It's going to be a hell of a scramble when the home tickets go on sale. Suppose it's on occasions like this where being a Sunderland fan can have its advantages. I recall them having 17k empty seats for their League Cup Semi Final, whereas we could sell SJP out twice over for this one.

Basically if you want to go, you’re sitting on your own.

Not necessarily/that simplistic. If you have a ST then you are in your seat no doubt you are comfortable with already. You can gamble and try and get a seat with a friend at phase 2 but that comes with a bit risk depending on your queue position. Then phase 3 if there is one where you can buy two together.

Not really, if you're a st holder you can sit with your normal match going mates? Obviously members will be likely to be solo but it's a semi final so not much of a burden really.

Nah. If two (or more) of you have memberships, and they are linked, you can use them to buy two (or more) at the same time, and obviously sat together.
