Anthony Gordon

Gives a good reason to watch England again. He surely has to be at least in the squad based on that first half and what Southgate has said about him in training this week.

Let's just get him to the point where the squad gets announced, without injury, first yeah? ?

Looks a threat. Promising.

Imagine if Trippier and Joelinton were fit and we had four players on the pitch for England vs Brazil

All 4 would definitely get injured

What did he say?

Not that it matters but Gordon has probably stuck 10m extra on his value in one game of football here.

Putting in a performance to cement yourself in the England set up is quite significant.

Impressed in training and he has merited his start. Can't find the article but it's amongst those lines.

Put in a proper shift and the contrast to when Rashford cane on was palpable. Looked to have a good understanding with Bellingham and protected Chilwell in defence. We looked extremely vulnerable down that side as soon as he came off.

Aye, seemed to link up so well will Bellingham considering it was his first game

It'll be infuriating when Rashford gets the nod in the big boy games purely cos he's a Man U player and has played for England loads before and AG gets 12 minutes to try and turn around a deficit against bloody Serbia or whatever.

I've noticed that confrontational angry side of him has totally gone from his game now. He seems a great lad now not a shit house like he was at Everton. Maturing and improving every game gonna be some player in the years to come.
