AyeDubbleYoo
Yeah, in his interview when he arrived he said he doesn’t do strength training. He might not mean literally none like, but it was interesting. Edited 19 hours ago by AyeDubbleYoo

Unusual He spoke about his fitness regime in that the overlap interview you can watch it on YouTube i think. Nothing ground breaking what others have said he prefers to stay out of the gym. Will literally give you stronger ligaments and connective tissues etc. but if he thinks it will increase his injury record then it will increase his injury record. There's a sprinter. Who was world class that never did weights. He finally started lifting in his mid 30's... then started getting PBs at a time when he should've started slowing down.... and it was attributed to the weights. Think it's Kim Collins. He hardly hulked up either. Might be PEDs. Edited 17 hours ago by The College Dropout
Lotus
Maybe he does a lot of body weight stuff or resistance bands. Would find it hard to believe he does NO strength and conditioning, like. Fwiw, I think I remember Mike Tyson only did body weight stuff when he was in his prime. Very different genetics, obvs!!

The Butcher
He's got to stop with the the diving and rolling around. It's embarrassing. For the first goal he dived to win a pen, feigned an injury and then jumped straight up to celebrate with Tonali.
duo
Whilst his work rate is still there his end product hasn't been great this season. He had a little purple patch up to the Bournemouth game but since then he hasn't really kicked on.
nemtizz
Little bit more than a purple patch.

I for one don't want this cheating shit from any Newcastle player. It makes us look bad.

LFEE
He’s definitely adapted his game for VAR. When he stays down he’s playing the averages to get VAR to look at it more closely. As we know that only increases the chances of getting a decision.
Ellis H
I love us diving and cheating. Other teams do it so why shouldn’t we? If Willock had been given the penalty against Brighton we’d be 2 points closer to the CL, all for a decision nobody would remember a week later. I don't like cheating,it needs to be eliminated from the game all together. I don't know how to do that though. I'd just rather win a game through hard work and creativity up front instead of resorting to diving. I'm clearly in the minority though so what's the point in me arguing my case. Heron
I tend to agree. There's a fine line between "winning fouls" and "diving" like. I actually think VAR has contributed to the former though as any contact is almost deemed legitimate means to go down and thus has professionalised cheating. TheBrownBottle
Nothing wrong with 'buying' a foul with legitimate contact and being clever about it. That's different from being a cheat - and AG leans towards the latter far too often.
Mazzy
The whole diving thing is thrown at attackers/ the attacking team so often, but actually the most blatant dives are often committed in defensive situations by the defending team, they just never get looked at with th same scrutiny because they don't result in a goal or chance. They are just as bad though, it's still cheating and those players are still conning the officials by diving. Refs need to wise up to it as it's becoming more and more common and incredibly tedious.
