The Premier League have made an absolute mess of this

All these legal cases, which they seen to lose or at least get a bloody nose, costing each Premier League club valuable money as well

I understand they wanted it to protect those heritage clubs but at what point do they realise they can't do that any longer

Will the Premier League then vote through a 3rd set of APT rules which will have to be legally challenged again? As it seems that's why they voted the amended rules through. They could just keep amending the rules until a new legal challenge defeats them.

They'll be spending millions on legal fee's already, and they're not funded by an oil state like Man City, so unless they want to hemorrhage money, they'll need to like their wounds and come up with a fair system then isn't open to legal challenges.

Surely it comes to a point where all the clubs say they are no longer willing to fund legal bill

As the costs build up I'm sure that money could be put to better use by each club

We're both saying the same thing, I think

It seemed as if you said the amended rules were fine while the other lad said it was all tossed.

It very well may be my poor reading comprehension I will admit.

What does this mean in practice? Can we do a £100m a season training ground naming rights deal?

Yes.

The Premier League may try to stop is as the current rules remain in place, however the current rules are likely to be found illegal and we will then sue for the loss.
