The Schar goal wasn’t celebrated as wildly as could have been expected for a late equaliser, but I think that was down to an element of shock, as a lot of the crowd (probably me included tbh) were sat thinking ‘I can’t believe this has happened against them again’. In my 31 years supporting Newcastle the Gallowgate has never been the loudest. Load of Sky shite about the home end and Shearer scoring there etc. Was the Leazes prior to the 90s, maybe during the 90s it was and since the 90s has been Level 7 and the corner. If you are near the back towards strawberry corner it’s really good and near constant singing. The middle section literally might as well be empty. I’ve seen every excuse trotted out in this thread from nerves to that football has changed. Unfortunately it’s bullshit the Emirates were all standing behind both ends last night and it was raucous even with Amazons shit sound, considering the game last night the atmosphere was more akin to Bournemouth at home shocking.
