Johnny Blue Hat had the hairs up on the back of me neck.

They spend millions and billions on these SuperBowl half time shows, and yet one bloke with his sax is the best thing you’ve ever heard.

Me and @PENKAAA were back row of Leazes Corner lower just next to where the Sky Sports studio was.

Being back row meant being able to stand freely. Quite a few around us were too and it was a good atmosphere. Standing at footy is just so much better than sitting. We have to get all like-minded people together who want to stand. If a new ground could help facilitate this it pushes me more towards that side of the argument.

Level 7 next to the away fans were superb

Aye it was proper radged up.  Proper class - best time I've had in L7 since the singing section got disbanded by the FCW.  None stop all game.

If you scan the ground during a game then you'll see most people in the back rows of blocks will be standing, there's clearly a strong desire to be stood up if given the chance

I always choose a back row, if I can't get in Safe Standing. I hate sitting down at the match

I was in the East Stand at the Gallowgate end and I could hear Level 7 from there - not done so before. Superb

I wonder if that's where a lot of atmosphere stymying  has come from. Being conscientious of people behind you moaning about standing up.

I sat in the front row for nearly 20years so felt this keenly. Away from home you knew the sort that'd be there so wasn't a problem. An old pipe smoking bloke behind me definitely wasn't that type.

There needs to a determined effort to banish the makina version of Blaydon Races

Weds night just showed how fucking ridiculous it is

Sounded mega sung at correct speed pre-game and sounded absolutely ludicrous sung at 190bpm once the game was underway

St Andrews. Stands packed with young lads standing up gan radge. Absolutely bouncing.

They create a decent din for big games, but horrible small time cunts always have been.

Good move by Wor Flags @Heron shame some our lot need reminding in a final.

What does really annoy me is reading on twitter "not everyone can stand" aye maybe 1k tops but you can't tell me we have 15k fans that need to sit down in silence man.

Yeah credit to @Heron and the Wor Flags lads and lasses but I can't see the atmosphere being any better than last time out seeing as its largely going to be all the same people attending.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

It might be the same people but it’s more about trying to get the ones that want to sing and stand all grouped together, rather than the mish mash we had last time.

Whilst I obviously applaud the effort to try and learn from the last final, I fear it only takes one group of fans to want to sit down in the designated area and it knacks everything. We can but try though.

I'm hoping our fans are less over-awed by the occasion this time.  I didn't think it was poor, it just wasn't as good as it could've been, but genuinely think everyone was just happy to be there. This time feels different.

was really poor on the sides/corners - especially higher up.

dead and full of obnoxious cunts.

That's fair, and is one of the main issues at SJP.

The problem is that, like in SJP, there hasn't been an effort to facilitate that sort of grouping together of likeminded supporters. Again, credit to Wor Flags for trying to do just that but I think it's a huge uphill task without support from official channels.

Be plenty in pot 2 who snap up the blocks that wor flags said though because theyre the best view. And a lot of them will be the ones who sit in SJP silent most week
