Absolute nonce, should have laid him out for that.

This is what I did mind - left, right, goodnight, sparked the cunt oot, everyone clapped, I took a bow. Had no choice.

TBF I wish folk would stop clapping. Ruins half our songs

We no longer clap in things like "United" and do that shit thing that makes no sense "Toon". If anything it should be "New-cas-tle" but even then it was traditionally 3 claps as far as I am aware.

Then we clap along relentlessly to every other song half of which should just be sang without any clapping and fairly slow so that the song carries and not just a mumble of people MCing.

Half the ground don't join in with the corner because the corner finish before they themselves have even started.

I noticed this yesterday, I was chanting along with something at one point and basically skipped a few words to finish at the same time.

Got asked to stop clapping at 10 min cos it was hurting his ears.

Last two games have made me think about fucking off going to games.

Not paying 60 quid to hear people moan all fucking game or hear some guy nearly have a heart attack because we passed the ball back.

Fans were on the players back all game.  Spent most game trying not to tell them to shut the fuck because they are a fucking idiots.

This sort of thing is exactly why I stopped going, aye

The match going experience is coloured half by what happens on the pitch and half by who you’re surrounded by. It’s almost impossible not to have multiple cretins near you chatting shit. I’m a positive fan in the ground and only emit the odd momentary grumble, apart from that I mostly sing to back the team or shout shit at the ref / other team. If someone told me to be quieter or clap less I’d honestly just ask them what the fuck they’re doing at a live football match
