What is this weird 'Bruuu-no' thing the crappy announcer does? Tin pot like.

Enjoy the game needs to go as well man. Fuck that off.

I think you’ve got to be fairer on that one and think of the broader (younger) demographic going to the match  [emoji38]

the caveat is that I've only been to 2 games in 17 years (and one of those was in a box), but I tried joining in songs last night and I literally couldn't sing the words fast enough

please slow down, why do you need to get the song over with in 5 seconds? It makes no sense at all

Louder and constant singing isn’t the main challenge we’re up against.. for me, it still continues to be the positioning of like minded fans…

Leeds have great support but they’re looking to bounce off the fans sitting nearest to them ie Level 7… in its tribal nature there’s nothing better than goading the opposition throughout the game, it simply generates more noise and activity… and last night would have been the perfect opportunity to send the atmosphere through the roof… Problem is L7 continues to be diluted as historical, regular fans move and are replaced by families and day trippers… I’m still up there for now and witness this every match and it’s noticeable how much it’s fallen away… so apart from the odd game, it’s only going to get worse.. and from a safety point of view the club are probably happy with this…

So whilst the gallowgate corner are no doubt giving it their best efforts, the away fans a) find it difficult to hear them and b) doesn’t really have much of an impact as they’re about 20 miles away…

Stick the fans next to each other, get a bit of eye contact going and turn a blind eye to foul language and obscene hand gestures…. That’ll sort it….

Apparently the camp Bruuuuuuuunooooo is also player led/requested but I'm not sure if I read that on here and have been whoosh'd, someone was taking the piss out of me when they told me, or I've just imagined that in my own head

If you read it on here it’s almost certainly fabricated nonsense made up by a middle to old aged man who doesn’t have very many friends in the real world and struggles to maintain a stiffy

You need to get yourself in a toilet cubicle and hoover a big slug of low grade bugle just before kick off, then another at half time and you'll be able to keep up

The DJ really peed me off last night [emoji38]

He made a lovely announcement regarding KK and in a beautiful organic moment the crowd began the “There’s only one KK…” chant only for him after about 20 seconds completely blast out Going Home at volume 11 and interrupt it as it was building around the ground:suicide:

As for the game it was a first for me spending 1st half in the Gallowgate then deciding to try the East Stand to change the teams luck for the second half. Night and day is all I can say. Even when there is no singing in the Gallowgate there is usually an atmosphere even if its ooo’s rrrr’s moans groans encouragement… East Stand is deadly quiet with an occasional chat between friends you can pick out quite clearly its that eerily well behaved. I was right on the half way line 8 rows from front (perfect view sadly for Schar likely last touch of the ball ever for us) and the old age of people was very noticeable as was their reaction to having someone more vocal sitting amongst them [emoji38]

Went in the East Stand for a game 2 year ago and I'm still convinced that they're not real people and I was in some sort of sketch show.

My ST was in block L of the East Stand and I try to sit there as often as possible due to my dad being there as well as familiar faces and lads I have a bit craic with. Actually had my old ST seat last night and I’d say about 7 in 10 around me join in singing, as the atmosphere and songs from the Corner are easily audible so plenty just join in. There’s loads of leaving early/arriving late mind for kick off, HT, second half kick off and stoppage time. Boils my piss when your view gets obstructed because they can’t go more than 45 minutes without alcohol or stuffing their faces. Mings.

However the point is, if you have to go in the East Stand for whatever reason try and go in blocks L and M; closest ones to the corner.

The rest of the stand is full of miserable fuckers and mutes. But think they’re mint because they’ve been miserable or mute in the same seat for 500 years or whatever the fuck.

I had a season ticket in the East Stand around 2005/6ish as I'd just moved back from abroad and it was all I could get at the time.

It was very quiet back then, apart from the football tactics cyborg directly behind me who'd been sent back from the future to educate the elite football managers of the past about where they were going wrong.

He'd just bark out tactical nonsense non-stop for 90 mins. He always knew best and he never, ever, ever got it wrong. He was an expert at guiding both NUFC and the away team.

I lasted that one season, then moved.

He's probably still there, 20 years later, blathering away to the person next to him expecting them to be in awe of his outstanding ability to outsmart any elite manager in the game.

I had a ST in the East paddock from 92-06, in front of the BSL box at first, £81 for a kids IIRC, the atmosphere was always a bit sleepy there, blokes with flasks and satsumas for HT etc, but fairly harmless.

have we ever published a demographic of out ST Holders ages?

Not sure where it came from but there was a study a year or two ago that found we had the second highest average ST holder age in the PL, with only Chelsea having an older average ST holder age

Chelseas is something like 58 years old now! I'd imagine we'd be early 50s.

Remember that, but didn't realise we were second!!

The Chelsea figure is pretty meaningless though, as season ticket holders make up such a small percentage of the crowd compared to the tourist element which London clubs have on their doorstep.

Which does beg the question, where were those fuckers around 89-91 when we’re sometimes down to 16,000?

More I watch premier League football I recognise it's a problem for everyone, watching Arsenal v Liverpool,

Liverpool's away support is shocking these days. 25 mins in they've not sang a song yet. A chorus of allez allez from arsenal n that's it

Leeds were decent last night but even then they weren’t as good as they have been in the past up here. Away support seems to have been infiltrated by the same people who managed to infect and kill home crowds some time ago.
