Most recently it absolutely pissed on Juventus, Arsenal and Liverpool I did with PSV last calendar year and Leverkusen last month with NUFC for outright noise. None of them came close. There's something to work on. It's certainly not the waste of time trying to work on the atmosphere as I was starting to suspect it would be. And as has been said, if you barely have a shot it can be difficult to drum up anything other than defiance noise (which they didn’t manage either). Where were you sat? I had the same situation in middle of gallowgate. Two guys yapped on literally the entire game about anything except the match. There’s a simple fix make the whole Gallowgate safe standing, or Leazes level 7 corner and the corner below. Si67 Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 I think it would be better if the home and away standing was in the same end of the ground i.e Leazes but very unlikely that the non-singing, sit-downers would want to move unless it meant quicker egress at the 35 and 80 minute point.
