San Siro...our home  !!

Went to AC v Atalanta back in April. Milans season was as good as over and they were absolutely rotten, Atalanta running out comfortable 1-0 winners but their Ultras never stopped.

Was actually hoping they'd turn on their players in the 2nd half just to make it really interesting but they pretty much stuck with them.

We were at Orlando City v Inter Miami a week past Sunday and even their atmosphere was better than what we produce at SJP which is pretty tragic in all honesty when we're lagging behind the MLS.

On Monday next week I hope we get the perfect blend of incredibly supportive backing of our lads and incredibly aggressive barracking of Liverpool and their players. Don’t want to hear a single mention of Isak

Howay The Lads and Blaydon Races should be staples at every game.

The makina mix of Blaydon Races where the same line is sung 2-3 times, two of which are in the wrong place. Absolutely tragic.

A repeat of that 2019 game against them would be good. SJP was a proper bear pit that night. Probably the most hostile I've known it. Scousers getting booted all over in the Gallowgate End.

Even Klopp commented about it afterwards asking if there was some history between the clubs that he was unaware of.

Simply a repeat of the Arsenal semi-final earlier this year would be more than good enough.

I know people are saying it will be like a bear pit next week but I'm not convinced. With our crowd noise seemingly based on who is successful in the ballot, it's anyone's guess how vociferous it will be.

Anyone not contributing to the atmosphere needs calling out by fans near them. Everyone has to be on it. The pressure to get involved in chants needs to be so strong that even the shittest fans can’t get away with staying quiet

Whilst I agree to a point, the PSG game was ballot and that was one of the best atmospheres the ground has ever witnessed. That was pretty much the exception though since the ballots came into effect however.

One thing I do know is that if the place isn't absolutely rocking when you mix in all the ingredients, kick off time, opposition, Isak etc then we might as well just pack up abd go home.

Needs to be absolutely rancid when they have the ball. Boos, whistles, the lot.

It’s an 8pm kick off on a bank holiday against a team that have done us over on a couple of occasions in the last year or two and have actively gone out their way to unsettle our best player resulting in him going on strike. It’s going to be volatile as fuck [emoji38]

Needs to be the sort of atmosphere in which Slot doesn’t want to come out of the dugout.

Never been a fan of Blaydon Races. I'm not from the area, so not had the connection with it as most do.

It’s the clubs song bit like a Liverpool fan saying they don’t like you’ll never walk alone. If you heard it sang properly like in the 70’s through the 90’s, it’s a different animal to the version sang today.

It's actually perfect in terms of setting our stall out, I think. Irrespective of the result, I think the occasion is set up to be a real backs to the wall, unifying display that says to the world - "you will not divide and conquer Newcastle United."

If we win it'll likely have the same confidence boost as the Mackems just had but at a higher level. Especially if we're Isak-less...

I get what you're saying. I've been a fan since I was 5ish but didn't get to know the songs until I was a lot older. Also go a few Coventry matches and hate their "club" song , We'll Live and Die in These Towns😂

Is that a hint at what the display says?

That's not their original club song though. It's was always "Let's all sing together"

Probably, after 57 years, this will be the first season without Ultras in San Siro.
