The doom and gloom is weird. It’s a great draw. Big names but no one you would say is a strong favourite for the competition as a whole. It could’ve been easier, but who cares? We’re class and I back us to get out of that.

?? no saying the easier teams are a guaranteed win either! It’s UCL folks!

Okay so here's my optimistic outlook ...

Milan and Dortmund have strikers that are bigger and not as mobile, which will suit our central defenders. I'm also not convinced their central midfielders are that great.

There's a world where we could finish second.

It's going to be very very interesting. At least it's a chance to really see how we stack up with some top European sides.

Love this draw, no easy walk in the park for us. No "we better get out" - "We should get out" and for us to fall on our face. We get out of this group, we've proved ourselves on the biggest stage. Each of these are winnable at home and we can go and get a result away from home.

Nothing small time at all about that. This is why you want to be in the CL? You go and earn it then.

Well played sir. I'm reading it twice to see if I can convince myself of the merits of this argument.

Without wanting to put a dampener on things, Paris and Milan will be two crap away days outside of the games themselves. Terrible cities for football.

Dortmund is so good though :bluestar:

Someone said it was shite?
