Jaqen Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 I think what's really exciting is in a time where midfielders are usually clearly more attacking or defensive players we've managed to find two in Bruno and Tonali who can do it all. We are kind of going against the norm for a 3 man midfield that usually always deploy a destroyer type in the middle that's pretty rigid positionally. Proper leader type character who will battle but also has more to his game than that. Was saying perfect foil to Bruno as others have already said and stick Joelinton in there as well and that’s a midfield that can truly dominate other teams. Sounded good to me really ? I think if we can get that Dominic lad we might swerve Maddison but I’m happy with either really. We Definitely need someone to open teams up at home though and turn draws into wins.
