Memphis Posted Tuesday at 16:44 Share Posted Tuesday at 16:44 If he actually turns down a legitimate offer to play for Real Madrid because of his loyalty to Newcastle, what an incredible statement that would be for the club and Eddie Howe.

Weezertron Posted Tuesday at 17:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:14 Losing him for that year is a proper sickner, like. Think we'd be even further along as a club had he played. You do get the feeling he's going to the top.

Easy. The important thing is that you do not lose Howe who is the true architect of your extraordinary season, despite some naivety he is an excellent coach. Rather I fear that you overvalue some players like Isaak who is a good player but not the phenomenon that I often read here.
Optimistic Nut Posted Wednesday at 13:37 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:37 Wonder if it plays on a player's mind if they go to someone like Real Madrid or Liverpool for instance and win things, they're just another name amongst a long list, whereas if they stay together and do it here, they're immortals. Premier IS and has been the pinnacle of European football for at least 25 years, just like Italy was between the 80s and 90s. In Italy, until a few years ago, they broadcast La Liga, Bundesliga and Premiere, and 9 out of 10 Italians only watched Premier. I'd rather watch Ipswich-Wolves than Real Madrid-Getafe. andycap
Just think when joelinton ain't in the team the midfield loses its discipline defensively. Tonali had an off game today he's human after all. 😂 Back to being a beast against chelsea please.

Holloway
Poor fare from him today, sloppy distribution and lost a few 50/50s
Pilko
Definitely his worst showing since before the ban, that. Still plenty of endeavour, but uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball and limp defending for the goal. Didn't help that Bruno and Willock both had shiters as well, mind. Hopefully he's back to his best for Chelsea, we'll need him to be.
